I was today years old when I found out that the Last of Us versions of the songs are officially on Spotify. I cried, I’m weak when I hear Joel singing Future days.
Pause everything! Because my Joel autograph finally came In today! I can’t believe that I actually own this. It’s so surreal to me, how he just read everything I said to him to thousands of people and, how I now have it in my hands. When I took it out of the package I saw that it had Troy’s fingerprints on it! ♀️ so excited to share this with you all, knowing how this fan base is so huge and diverse all over the country. Troy and the cast are some really down to earth and determined people. I teared when I first saw the “I would do it all over again” Joel, we love you forever. ❤️
Totally freaking out because earlier today something INSANE happened. Troy freaking Baker signed an autograph for my brother and I during his LIVE on Instagram and I will not recover from this anytime soon!! it was so personal for me and, I had no clue he was going to read out loud to everyone what I told him. Joel being the greatest father figure in the history of gaming, how powerful and loved his character was and STILL is, how the game was personal to my brother and I with not having a present father figure. He then began to write and said: “as Joel said “i would do it all over again”. This meant a lot, and this is purely wild! The sweetest ever, Troy you’re a freaking legend. Going to go cry now.

A bit late for The Last of Us Day, but, after rebinding, here’s my version of Ellie’s journal in the game. I’ve replicated (by hand) all content from The Last of Us II and added pages for American Dream, Left Behind and The Last of Us I (Scanned pages are posted in my Tumblr blog). It looks more or less in line with replicated content, I expect.
I cannot….. even begin… to describe just how much of a total & complete sucker I am… for the trope where an older, closed off, broken down man who has become a rugged, disillusioned shell of who they once were due to significant past trauma that is still haunting him, unexpectedly has his soul renewed by needing to protect a small, spunky child that rekindles his ability to care & love & whom they will eventually either somewhat or entirely adopt as their own.
Doodles for my #DenialAU in which Joel survives with major brain damage and partial amnesia and Ellie takes care of him. Angst fluff and mental breakdowns aplenty. I just love broken and helpless characters so much ok
