I find Handsome Asian John Cho’s face quite amusing. In a nice way! It’s because his forehead is so long and the rest of his face so compact. Like other Handsome Asian George Takei, John Cho also played fictional Handsome Asian Sulu in the most recent Star Trek movie.

it’s probably a very unpopular opinion but i actually really like the live action of cowboy bebop. when you go into watching you can’t hold the expectations that it’s going to be exactly like the anime, you just can’t with live action adaptions of anime. but i reckon the writers and directors and everyone did a really good job of capturing the essence of cowboy bebop.
Cowboy Bebop. I remember the first time I saw it in the 90s with that sensational jazz music, I was like I wanna be a cowboy when I grow up! Now I am in late 20s. Watching one of my favorite animations into a Netflix tv drama is certainly a very different experience. I have to say I like John Cho but he is a bit old for the leader character Spike. I firmly like the idea that the director put huge effort into this AMWF relationship between Spike and Julia. Not the best show I watched in 2021 but it certainly was worth my time. See you Space Cowboy, Cowboy Bebop’s live-action remake will debut on November 19th. Only on Netflix.
I’m actually kinda excited and worried on how this show will work. I hope this won’t end up just like Death Note. John Cho portrays Spike Spiegel. Daniella Pineda portrays Faye Valentine. Mustafa Shakir portrays Jet Black. Edward Wong will be revealed later in this show just like in the anime (source: Wikipedia)
