After a stormy first marriage to a cheating husband who left her for another woman, Grace (Anna Chancellor) built the perfect life: a solid second marriage to a good and faithful man (James Fleet), two well-adjusted and successful daughters (Katie Boland and Hannah Anderson), and a dream career as a Toronto architect. So when she finds out that she has a possibly fatal brain tumour she accepts her impending demise the way she lives her life, graciously and without fuss. At least she knows she has no regrets.
Until…
Her still tempting first husband (John Hannah), an award-winning novelist who wrote a tell-all bestseller about their marriage, arrives in the middle of the night vowing to win her back before she dies.
Still a rebel at heart, Richard is determined to prove that he is the love of her life. With only five days to go before the surgery that may kill her, she suddenly finds herself courted in her own home as her famous ex embarks on a campaign of seduction. Her husband Tom barely notices as he obsesses on his future as a widower.
As Grace struggles to keep her life on an even keel, she discovers that her daughters are secretly living lives of romantic and professional disaster. But how do you give your children a lifetime of wisdom in a handful of days? And has she really achieved any wisdom at all?
Things get even more complicated when the outrageous woman (Hermione Norris) who stole her first husband moves in, determined to stop Grace from having a final fling with the brilliant novelist they both loved.
But Grace doesn’t want a final fling – except maybe with her married co-worker (Greg Wise).
So who – or what - is the love of her life?

Love of My Life will be out in UK cinemas on 17 February and on video on demand on 20 February. The film stars Anna along with James Fleet, John Hannah, Hermione Norris and Greg Wise.
Anna plays Grace, an architect who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and potentially five days to live, at which point her first husband returns to try and win her back from her second.
