Today’s icon is a fictional John Oates as depicted in the classic internet show “Yacht Rock”. One of the earliest (and funniest) examples of television made for the web was featured on the ground-breaking Channel 101 and you can still see the show in its entirety here. See episode #1 for the icon above where Oates declares that, “your music scene is for pussies”.
