Honestly …wouldn’t be surprised if everyone is vecna-ed in some capacity.
However, it seems likely : Will, jonathan, and lucas are the most likely ones to be targeted next. From what I’ve seen- at least. Noah- wearing a harness in s4 bts, the lucas scene in the trailer, jonathan talking about his dating/parental issues and argyle calling it a “nightmare cyce”. Like suspish given vecna is a dream-monster.
El too(based on the trailer) could be a target. it’s hard to say whether she’s just using her powers to enter the others’ minds (who are being vecna-ed) in order to try and help. Or if vecna targets her- not like he doesn’t have a vendetta against her already. El screaming in s2 “get out of my head!” and talking about a “dream circle” to kali- could also be foreshadowing, she’s another target of vecna .
But, honestly. They may ALL have to face some hallucinations/nightmares -caused by vecna. Vecna may simply try to target and encapicate all of them - because they’re all trying to stop him. But vecna upon targeting everyone may have his favorite targets since he feeds off tra*ma, pain, etc. So even if everyone is targeted - some characters may be in MUCH MORE danger than others.

Every time Jonathan or Will call themselves El’s brothers or Joyce talks about having three kids I burst into tears

It was a bit predictable, but not completely. More like the overarching plot was predictable. But it did have a few surprises.

Joyce is a badass.
We get some explanations, which leads to more questions.
Will is still my favorite character.

Can we not have Steve and Nancy get back together. Please. I like their friendship. What the hell did they do to Jonathan. Come on writers.
Will….oh poor Will. That was not subtle at all. I don’t ship Mike and Will, I don’t really have ships…except Nancy and Jonathan…damn it. I have one ship.
But we called Will from day one. And the subtle line in episode one about Will potentially having a crush on someone. This child. Give this boy some acceptance and love, please.
Honestly? The Will Jonathan, and Mike part of the story was the most interesting to me.
Max was incredible this season. Absolutely amazing. Give that girl a hug, please. Several preferably.
The Eleven story I feel could have been handle differently. But I understand why they did it this way. The back story for the gates & in a way the upside-down, left me with a lot of questions. And we finally found out about 01 which….yikes. Great acting by the guy playing 01 though. He was terrifying.
I don’t mind the new characters. Eddie’s a bit meh, and Pothead McGee…we didn’t really need other than to rescue them from the Byers household. But there were several ways around that. So IDK what’s going on.
Really sad that the Rhino Ranger from Jungle Fury is playing a mean Soviet officer in gulag.
The cops really are the worst in this town. I hope Hopper can get his job back. Like, come on, given all the sketchy unexplainable shit that happens in this town, this is the thing you don’t believe. Also even if it’s Eddie. HOW is he doing that? And doing it exactly the same way as the crazy guy at the asylum.
THAT REUNION between Joyce and Hopper. Amazing.
Dustin needs just a little trust.
Robyn really needs a girlfriend.
Lucas’s story was really important. And Although I find Erika just a little too annoying…I think its likely because of the strong younger sibling vibes. But I LOVE how she owned Eddie. Epic.
I hope we get more from Lucas and Max, I feel like there’s still a lot of left unsaid there. May have to go back and rewatch the series so I may have some other thoughts afterward.
