I know exactly what show this is. Oh wait—

A Jonathan Strange fountain pen sketch from weeks ago. I rewatched the series with my kids, they loved it. Drawing is not happening at the moment. I will draw again.

here I am writing things with my York Minster pencil as I drink tea from my Kirkstall Abbey mug (the Abbey is the film location of Norrell’s library) thinking about how there are four copies of JS&MN in this house (three different English ones, one Dutch) and uhhh wow I want to reread JS&MN so badly this Summer

this might be a shot in the dark and I also haven’t been in the tags for a thousand years so apologies if there’s already a similar thing going on/being set up but would there potentially be interest in doing a reading group kind of thing in the Summer months? we could set up a discord server or something and read 100 pages per week or whatever division would work? maybe divide it up per BBC episode and then at the end of the week watch the episode? (flashbacks to those sunday evenings when the eps were first aired…. i die….)
