i find it funny that half of the bully community(from what I seen) listens to like rock bands and stuff like that and here I am. listening to Tyler, the Creator and pinkpantheress lol. so whenever I see art or headcanons about the music that a character listens to i’m like “yep. exactly. totally agree.”

being aware of the impact of things we can often not think about (like straws) is important if we’re to make strides on environmental preservation

that does not eclipse the importance of being aware of how it impacts disabled people. they’re both conversations we need to have

and on top of this ableism, banning plastic straws won’t do shit for the environment because straws aren’t even close to being the main cause of plastics pollution. Calling for a ban on straws is the same bs of shifting the blame of pollution onto the general public when its massive corporations, businesses and governments as a result of capitalism that is to blame.

Disabled people shouldn’t have to be thrown under the bus so you can feel better about the environment without having to do actually do anything of worth.

it’s a novel concept to many i’m sure, but i truly think people need to stop dogpiling on small indie creators over their exploration of sensitive themes with accusations of ‘bad representation,’ ‘harmful behavior apologism’ and ‘[insertword]-phobia or -philia’ and such criticisms instead should be focused on creators, producers, executives, networks, and other platforms with exponentially more audience reach than individuals just trying to float about in their little spaces online and have a fucking good time exploring their interests and their identities

they’re stuck in the never-ending game of “no you hang up”

( i sorta rushed this i havent slwpt in a while and im so so tired but i had to finish this , i honeslt suck at making drawings of ppl look like those ppl idk if that makes sense anyways im gonna go pass out now )

Wow the drawing is just

Reminds me of a time when my friend and I did the same thing and was wondering what would happen if one of them, in a competitive spirit, leaves without hanging the receiver cuz some work came up and the other hangs up, calls again a few minutes later but the line doesn’t connect cuz the receiver wasn’t hung properly? And said person doesn’t realise the error until hours later

I haven’t personally watched the new Dragons TV show (honestly, I don’t think I will; I’m too partial to the original gang), but I’ve seen enough posts here to know people aren’t crazy about Thunder’s design.

Which is…understandable.

But I have a reason for why Thunder’s design is so…bleh. 1300 years has passed since Toothless’ time, so it makes sense that the Night Light would evolve (not quite sure why he’s still got such strong black coloring, as it would have been bred out due to continued interbreeding with the Light Furies, but whatever.)

But, guys, not all animals evolve cute.

u know what jisol and onions got in common..?

they both make me cry.

Elros and Elrond were the princes of not one, but two lost kingdoms. They were hopes for the future. Ever since they were so little they must have heard people talking about them - how they would hope their parents rebuild, how they would lead their people, how they were a symbol of undying hope

And then they were kidnapped, and you know, even if things turned out not too bad for them, a kidnapping is a kidnapping. They were taken against their will. They had to do whatever Maedhros and Maglor said, and even if later on the lines between kidnappers and guardians became blurred they likely still had many rules to follow and to obey

They must have learnt about the Valar from someone. If it was Maedhros and Maglor, they would likely not be charitable with them. Anywhere from being bitter towards them to outright describing them as tyrants would be in line with Feanorian thoughts. But even leaving aside anyone’s personal feelings, it is undeniable, from the way the world is set up, that Elves will ultimately always have to answer to the Valar, whether they worship them or are doomed by them or end up in Mandos after they die

And considering all of this - the duties towards everyone in Beleriand, the kidnapping, the rules that govern Arda - is it that surprising that Elros would make the only choice that would one day allow him to slip free from the bounds of the world?
