Its day 1 of @justacard week!

Today’s post is about me - 10 things you may not know.. so:

1. I love making jewellery, it’s a real passion (and you probably know this!)
2. I still work full time and fit all the aspects of running a business around that.
3. When I’m not working in my 9 - 5 (well 10 - 6), or on some aspect of the business, I sing in a busy choir.
4. My family is vast.. like.. HUGE.
5. I have unlimited design ideas on the go at once.
6. I love the theatre, I go every chance I get.
7. I’m a happy sci-fi tv, book and movie geek.
8. I firmly believe representation matters.
9. There are often 3 books I’m reading at any given time - I usually finish the easiest read and move onto another (I’m not one for complex literary works, I feel like I should be though!).
10. I recently heard the term Polymath - I’m claiming and embracing it.
11. I’m not great at following instructions (‘10 points’!?)
12. I want to see others do well!

… So, this is me. My name is Crystal and I’m a self-taught polymer artist, just beginning my back journey.
And…10 things about me.

1. I love to dye my hair… But I hate to brush it.
2. I love love love to travel and I’m obsessed with Utah.
3. I’m a tree hugging dirt worshipper. I actually hug trees. I seriously collect sticks, rocks, and pinecones.
4. I love funky shoes, but I prefer to be barefoot.
5. I’m disabled from a car accident. I have herniated discs, spinal stenosis, foraminal narrowing, and degenerative disc disease.
6. I was a wedding designer before I had to “retire” at 35. I’ve helped design $50,000+ weddings and it was the craziest, most fun job ever.
7. I love animals, probably more than people..I have 4 cats and I’m obsessed with foxes.
8. I like to smell the soap everywhere I go. Always she’ll the soap.
9. I am a succulent hoarder. I stopped counting at 150. Most of my money goes to plants.
10. I have the most amazing support system that includes my husband, my siblings @celisticwolf @bendragonstudio and @vietnam_loving_derp, my bestie of 20 years @punkdivaa311 and my parents. Without these people, I wouldn’t be who I am..
