WHAAAAAAT ? ANOTHER k-505 UPDATE ?
Hello Fellow Simmers :)
Let’s begin the weekend with some news ;) No update … yet :D Only some news and some new stuff :)
But, yes, there are some updates in the pipes. Maybe you don’t know but I got the Covid-19 on March 19th, 5 weeks ago. And I was madly sick. I was unable to work, mod, and even think. But I’m very lucky. I could breathe. With some difficulties, especially at night but without any need such as respirator. And I was at home. A cosy one. And I got help. My girl friend stayed with me and didn’t get the Corona at all. I stayed @ hospital only one day and could heal at home until now.
I got too a true spirit help from @grieralexanderand@szanne7000 who worried for me. I owe them a forever thanks !
But since I feel better, I can’t stop to work and think about modding ! :D Happily, half of what we produced for 2 weeks were already made before the Covid-19 pandemic. Since, we re-digged the files of the Sims 4. A lot. I re-discovered things and stuff inside the belly of the beast and now we already made all the K-505, it is time to go a bit further … We think stone and concrete, we think trees, we think walls … Trees & walls are a huge piece of cake. It will be a long road indeed :D
We have 2 testing Worlds : WindenburgandSelvadorada. We play a lot with their files. We don’t forget San Myshuno ( we never released before ) and all the ones which need an update. It’s coming. A bit slowly but it’s coming.
THIS WEEK,we’ll add the roofs to the K-606. Less cartoony, less plastic, more in harmony with the terrains :) Pictures and download link later in the evening. Do not miss it ! :D
New walls are coming too. in few hours … and before the end of the week end : New plants ( remember : we do not make only build stuff ! :D )

WHAT IS COMING THIS WEEKEND
I may insist a lot because the last update has been a lot improved and an improved mod is always working better than the previous ones :D
Then, there is more to come : the NEW K-606 Mod which replaces ALL the foundations of the game ;) It became obvious to us that if you use the K-505 Mod with enhanced textures, you would enjoy we begin to improve the most as possible the game look and feel ;) Obvious isn’t it ?
TheK-606 is a real Maxis Match. Except 2 or 3 foundations we deeply modified, all the other ones are strictly following the style and colorimetry of the Maxis. OF COURSE, all the textures has been IMPROVED. You will see it tonight because we deliver it tonight :)
Then, we remade the whole EA floorpaints to match our K-505 Mod ;) We re-organized the whole stuff, updated it until ISLAND LIVING and renamed it : K-202 … It will be released tomorrow, saturday ;) Do not worry, you will be guided as much as possible. And if you do have questions, send us a message, we’ll answer to all.
More K-101 will be released : the Expansions ones :) Be prepared ! :D
At last, we will release new floors and updated ones. Maybe some new walls, we’ll see and then, it will end our BUILDER’s WEEK !

K-707 NEWS OF THE WEEK
Soooo … This is Sunday and the K-707 Nature Mod can’t be updated today …
I know, I know … some of you will be disappointed. I am ! But it will be done the coming week. I still need to find some good japanese maple textures and some others ;)
It’s not a bad news after all because I have too to find new textures for plants and shrubs and grass for Base Game and Expansions, so at the end, the K-707 Nature Mod update will be more important than planned at first !
Some of you send me messages to ask the pink Cherry Trees back … And some don’t want at all any pink trees in game. This is a 50/50 question. So it is not necessary at all to send me anymore messages related to this subject. We must at first make new testy files. Then, we’ll decide. And maybe there will be 50/50 updated Cherry Tree files. Wait and See ! :D
New floors are coming too. Tatami sets, Wood sets, Vintage sets ……… ;)
@dusty1101 asked us the difference between each K Mod … So, Here we go.
- K-101 : aka The K-101 Builder Mod
It’s a floor replacement, for Basegame and ALL Expansions and Stuff Packs. It is a very very interesting Mod for everyone. As the other K-Mods, it changes the boring flat plastic look and feel of the Sims 4 for something more realistic and more textured. It is good for all players and builders, not only for your Sims home but for everywhere inside the game.
- K-202 : aka the K-202 Terrafloor Mod
It’s everything floor paint related ( the ones you access to modify a lot inside a world ) They are around 50 ( base game + expansions ) and as we always do ( almost :D ) we try to fit the colorimetry and the style of Maxis but with our our way :D You can see pictures on our website ( tech-hippie ) and here, in some older posts.
- K-303 : aka the K-303 Objektor Mod
It’s a kind of forever test Mod :D It includes walls and objects I modify and test for myself until now. It will be released one day or another ;)
- K-505 : aka the K-505 Terrain Mod
It’all about terrains, for base game and all expansions, such as the one in the previous post :D It changes all the textures of the worlds terrains : grass, ground, sand, street, pavement and so on ;)
- K-606 : aka the K-606 Architekt Mod
Everything related to foundations and floors and when we find them among the thousands files of the game : column, pillar and so on. Until now, we mainly made roofs and foundation. This one will be updated asap because of the platforms recently released by EA. It occurs some disappearances of some foundations we already made. I have to investigate the subject ;)
- K-707 : aka the K-707 Nature Mod
Everything related to Nature : trees, shrubs, plants, etc … It is the most difficult Mod we made until then. It’s very very tricky and it is very long to do and redo. It is supposed to give a better effect for trees ( less cartoony ) Still in progress, a bit such as a huge beta work :D
Why there is not a K-404 Mod ? Obviously it would be an error ;) The end for tonight my friends ! Stay safe, stay tune, peace !

THURSDAY NEWS, UPDATE NEWS, MORE NEWS ( ALL about BATUU & KOMOREBI )
Hi everybody :)
Today, many news … First, my internet connection IS BACK for good !!! At laaaaaaaast ! Oh Gosh, 1 month and half to see the job done properly …….. I was so mad ! But it’s over now, and everything is working fine sooooo :
Komorebi terrains are on their way;) In theory, they should be downloadable tomorrow night with the Batuu terrains … But not only :D
We watched that with all the recent game updates, many custom replacement things have just gone away and we have to investigate a bit further every world ( again ) but at least, we managed to fix the Moony and Sunny Windows to get the transparency back. We’ll upload them this Sunday ;)
So, the Batuu K-505 and the Komorebi K-505 are almost there :) but not only … We are working to on :
-the K-101 ( floors from both Batuu & Komorebi )
-the K-606 ( roofs & foundations of Komorebi )
- the K-707 ( trees and plants of Batuu & Komorebi )
We’ll upload too some K-303 stuff such as the Torii ( as seen on the first picture ) and other things …

BATUU, MT KOMOREBI AND OTHER NEWS …
Hello fellows :)
Yes … we know, a long time we didn’t updated and created some stuff, but we got a HUGE problem with our internet connection since October and we hope everything will be fine the coming week, without guarantee :/
A web provider technician made physically HUGE bullshits with 3 web connections inside our small building of 4 and he messed up so much that we do not have a real connection for 1 month and half now … It is very rare but when it happens, oh gosh ! Really hard to make everything back fine.
Anyway, we succeed to make one of the big EA update and get Batuu. Batuu … A nice world with tiny gameplay, but quite easy to make terrains and co. It is almost done and asap we get back our connection ( another technician is coming tomorrow : monday ) we’ll update these news with download links hopefully ;)
Related to Mt Komorebi, asap we can make the last updates, we’ll get the game and work on terrains and co.

ECO LIFESTYLE & K-505 NEWS
Hello fellow Simmers :)
At Laaaaast, some news related to the K-505 Terrain Mod for Ecolife and Evergreen Harbor … We received many messages, all in style “hello k-hippie we want the K-505 for Ecolife asap please” :D
OK Folks, don’t worry, we are working on it since June 5th. And the work is well advanced ! And we solved the roads problems ;) But believe me, this is a pain in the ass :/
At first we thought it won’t be too hard and so on but we were wrong. Maxis made a sloppy work with roads stretched as hell and we still don’t know why, some roads ( but not all of them ) are from Willow Creek ( aka base game ) and many many textures stretched weirdly. Indeed, Maxis made a sloppy work.
In addition, we met some other problems to solve. But good news, at last, piece after piece, we complete the new K-505 for Ecolife;)
And because we love all of you, we manage to verify everything to get a good job. So be prepared, in the same time of the next K-505 Mod for Ecolife, there will be other updates :
- K-505 Mod for Basegame ( Willow Creek )
- K-505 Mod for Get Together ( Windenburg )
- K-101 Mod ( addition of Ecolife floors )
- K-606 Mod ( addition of Ecolife stuff )
- K-202 Mod ( NEW textures ! )
We shall propose these updates at first, then the K-505 Terrain Mod for Ecolife.
You have to wait a bit longer for all this, because as we use Sims4Studio to manage floors and walls and roofs and so on, we are waiting too for the Sims4Studio update;)
Last but not least, stay tuned because we made new walls and new floors : CONCRETE & METAL stuff for your Eco Living Style … What a Life ! :D

THE SIMS 4 JUNE 3RD UPDATE
Hello Fellow Simmers …
We Quickly tested and checked numerous packages and we didn’t yet experimented problem but … we are not 100% sure yet ;)
Related to our save files : we could launch ALL our save files ( test files, no-cc files, full-cc files ) and experimented no crash and no problem.
Before updating, we got out our Mods folder elsewhere …
Once the game updated, we launched at first a no-cc save file. Played with it ( both build and buy ), played with the new alt-function with some windows, saw the new firemen, etc … We saved it and closed the game.
Then, we put back our usual Mods folder and launched a full-cc save file. Played a bit and saved it. So far, no problem yet.
Of course, if you experiment a bug with our objects and/or our Mods, please tell us as quickly as possible ! Thanks :)

SPRING NEWS …
Hello fellows and all simmers around :) Some news today, and not bad ones since they are for both Sims 3 and Sims 4 ! :D
At first, we just modify the look of our simblr … Not sure to keep it long because we have something else in mind but it’s quite ok for now ;) And we added some xtra links.
So, let’s start with the Sims 3 …
As you already know, even I played for a long time this game, I consider myself still a baby learning in everything related to custom content and world building. So, THANKS A LOT to the almost 1000 “likes” we received for Oaksoak Hollow !!! That’s amazing indeed ! And the update of Oaksoak Hollow aka Oaksoak Hollow 2022 is on its way, very soon from now with a brand new populated save game … :)
Related to Sims 3 custom content, I have XTRA good news since at last … we created real true super custom content ( build only ) and we are going to release very soon 30 terrain paints and 50 real patterns which are for most of them conversions of our Sims 4 build and stuff k-mods … Not the whole stuff … yet ;) we are not so productive isn’t it ?
This will be directly related to our worlds build stuff and we’ll re-organize this part of our creations to be much more convenient and reliable in time for everyone ! So … stay tuned because it will come quickly :D
Then, let’s talk about the Sims 4 …
As you know, there won’t be anymore any expansion pack for the Sims 4 … And sorry to bother you but that’s great news to me !!! of course, there still will be some game packs to come and some kits … but we can begin to think about the future of the Sims franchise and let our voice be heard, even EA doesn’t really matter about it.
The only thing which I’m going to miss is the great Sims4Sudio tool which has been a great companion for every creator around for 7 years now. I learned so many things related to 3D and Sims stuff with Sims4Studio !
For answering to the same question many of you send me … No, I still do not have the wedding stuff pack, so, I can’t process the whole files in order to update the k-505 mod…If someone want to send me the files, I’ll do it. But I’m not interested at all to buy the wedding stuff for myself. Nor the cleaning kit or the laundry kit … :D
“But k-hippie … are you going to let down the whole sims 4 ?????”
Not at all ! This weekend, we are going to release The Classika Paintings volume 6 :) Few people asked for this with so much kindness that I couldn’t resist :D So, last week, as I digged deep into my archives, I re-organized a bit all the Sims 4 stuff I did and then I realized I made the first painting and artworks back in 2015 ! Pikachu shock … So, going to update too things and stuff among our creations.
Time to little reblogs and updates indeed !

EUREKA VALLEY - NEW Q&A …
Surprisingly, we received new questions related to our Sims 3 Worlds : mainly Oaksoak HollowandEureka Valley … I say “surprisingly” because usually we do not receive many ones ;) except when a new sims 4 world arrives on the market. And it is ALWAYS the same one : Are you going to do it ? So, I’m so pleased to answer different kind of questions today :) And hope my answers will be ok :D
I just discover your worlds! Is Oaksoak Hollow populated?
No. None of our worlds are populated. But we provide a save game which is a populated one with maxis based Sims. Up to you to play with or without. With NRAAS, you may populate quite easily a world.
The stories are a nice touch. Where it comes from?
Well, that’s an interesting point indeed. Our first world : Lost Cove was an almost empty world because we wanted to make something really different: Harder to survive. No roads, no comfortable house, no grocery store, and so on … We imagined a full story around such as a post apocalyptic situation. Our story tellings begin with Lost Cove and because I need to be motivated to make a world, I need a good story :D So we made the same with Oaksoak HollowandEureka Valley … Can’t really tell more about. Inspiration is sometimes very tiny :D
Your worlds are big. Would you mind to make smaller one?
Yes.Eureka Valley is already smaller than Oksoak Hollow. The next world should be a bit smaller than Eureka Valley … Its name is Shetland Harbour!
Do you intend to update your worlds?
Yes. The next update of Oaksoak Hollow will be mainly about community lots corrections and furniture inside residential lots. And things here and there.
Lost Cove does not really need an update since it is upon players to build/rebuild the world. And Eureka Valley will be updated later in the year.
I don’t play Sims4 anymore but I love your work! Will you convert your walls and floors?
Aaaarrrggg … Yes. I already wrote it ( do not remember in which post ) but sims 3 tools are not as cool and easy as the sims 4 ones ;) so, it will take some times. And most important, the final render is not at all the same depending of … well I don’t really know. Must learn deeper and dig again for tips.
I already did few things that are included in the CC folder I share on our website. For more, you’ll have to be patient :D

Well … Well … Well … EUREKA VALLEY is on its way :)
Our new Eureka Valley World is finally done ans is now under testing on PC ( 32 bits ) and Mac ( both 32 bits & 64 bis versions ) so here some pictures :)
What to expect with Eureka Valley ?
As with our 2 previous worlds, Eureka Valley is a green oriented town … and in this case, a quite luxurious world. We modified terrain textures, roads and trees, downtown, lots place and situation and tried to get as close as possible of our idea.
Our idea was to get a mixed world between farming and tech and so, transformed many things to that purpose. Eureka Valley is a very pleasant world, more science turned and a real mix of old farms and futuristic houses, ready to play into a full revamped and transformed Appaloosa Plains base…and from Appaloosa Plains to Eureka Valley, from Earth to Outerworld, the new center of the Sims spatial road to the future is available to play with :)
We made 70 lots ( 38 community and 32 residential ) to fit Eureka Valley. And we will provide all the files needed to play with :) including a .save file with population for a “ready to play” game ;)
Among the lots, we made a community 3-lotd combo : Consignment Store - Geek Store - Market which is intended tp be the Center of Eureka Valley, just besides the City Hall and the Coffee Shop :)
We kept 2 residential lots and 4 community lots from Oaksoak Hollow …
- Eureka Valley Café
- Eureka Valley School
- Eureka Valley General Store ( which is now the Grocery lot too)
- Eureka Valley Outdoor Pool ( this one is present in each of our world !)
Everything else is new :)
As for Oaksoak Hollow, we’ll provide the listing of every lot with credits and if we forget someone, just tell us ;)

Coming soon : a new Sims 3 World : Eureka Valley
Based on Appaloosa Plains, it has nothing to do with the EA world. We modified … well … almost everything:D
- This new world gets a greener and more red colorimetry
- New terrain textures all around
- All the roads have been reworked, both colorimetry and build
- Every lot has been remade from the ground
- Trees have been added and many trees have been removed and replaced with new ones
And much much more ;)
The pictures above are just a sneaky view from a whole new world ;)
New lots with new style for both residential and community are currently at work and the story of Eureka Valley is a new one …
As every Simmer knows, Appaloosa Plains was all about farms, and horses and dogs and cats all around :) But years after years, Appaloosa Plains has seen its population downsized. A bit critical isn’it ?
Once upon a day, some people from other Sims worlds moved in town … Geeks, Hipsters, Hippies … New Sims style with different needs searching new lifestyle …
Surprisingly, everything worked fine. Older citizens with Newer ones. Somes rebuilded the ancient farms and some others bought terrains where to build new houses. From sleepy, the town began to find its own way, more active and futuristic, a kind of ideal eco lifestyle.
Then, newcomers arrived in town. More science turned. And they arrived with a brand new project : from Appaloosa Plains to Eureka Valley, from Earth to Outerworld, the new center of the Sims spatial road to the future : conquering MARS !!!
Of course, you imagine how bold this project is indeed ! And how Eureka Valley is born :D
The City council met a lot with scientists, spoke a lot to put certain conditions on the table such as the life of every citizen of this new town, lifestyle, quietness, environment and so on ;) But they all agreed to try :)
This is another part of the story. It will be upon you to manage the big and the little things of Eureka Valley :D and lead your Sims to the next step, Sims in space ! Good luck and as always, have fun !

SUMMER OF UPDATES #1 - K-707 UPDATE - MILESTONE : 95%
It’s summer in the Simsverse and nature is all blossoming, green and lush and everything that everybody loves, while temperature is not overheating, which it seems, nobody loves.
We’re back with an update for your pixelated skins ! Flowers, leafs, high grass ( and medium-not-flat-on-ground grass ) and trees have been trimmed, cleaned and watered, all over the places. EVERYWHERE. No leaf unturned. Yes, yes … we are humbled virtual garden-nerds in this game ;)
More seriously, the K-707 is, the closest to done as it ever been.
95% of ALL GREENIES are done !!!!!
Except one of two plants that seems to be within the code itself, we did as we said : all plants, trees, flowers and bushes have been k-hippied, transformed, lovingly texturized. We are still looking for all those that we haven’t done yet.
**It might not seem, but it is an important milestone. **
This game is a beast, working for each and every files that are everywhere and nowhere is exhausting at times. But it’s done :) Finally, that part of the game is over and we are less incline to cringe whenever we load a save. A bit of relief is welcome on our roadmap of retexturing the game.

SUMMER K NEWS ! ( aka SUMMER OF UPDATES )
Hello fellow simmers :)
A long time we didn’t update our stuff and well, it is time now ;) Summer is here, we have a bit more time and so are we going to update and create for the Sims 4 and the Sims 3 ;)
The Sims 4 : K-707 UPDATE
At last, we tracked every little flower, every small grass all around the sims worlds. Everything is now in harmony with the K-505, Except 1 or 2 plants we still do not find while still searching, everything should be ok :)
Among the trees, Cypress have been done.
It was quite a mess because we made nice stuff last time, stuff we didn’t want to lose it but we had to complete the plants replacement … Quite a trick ! :D
We hope you’ll enjoy our work … Coming this week !
The Sims 4 : K-505 UPDATE
Yeah … we know, we still haven’t finished everything in the K-505 Mod … We noticed few things here and there and of course, the one we never did : San Mushino ;) So, stay tuned, another update is coming next week !
The Sims 4 : K-101 - K-202 - K-606
We are waiting July 22nd and Cottage Living to begin the Summer Update of these mods ;) We should finish too the unfinished stuff. Wait and See !
The Sims 4 : K-303
We are still thinking about what to do with this. Replacing all the walls is long and fastidious due to the huge number of recolors of each wall. Maybe we’ll do some specific walls replacement or maybe we’ll make a special vacation worlds such as a “Special Granite Falls” or a “Special Selvadorada” or a very very customized world … We still don’t know. Wait and See !
The Sims 3 : NEW World is coming !!!
We are working on a new world for the Sims 3. In fact, it is 2 worlds you can play with side by side, like a solar binary system :D We do not want to talk too much about this project, it is a surprise and we hope you’ll enjoy it :D
Coming this Summer ;)
Here is quite the program of what’s coming from the k-hippie world ;) We called it : Summer of Updates and it will be a tag in the next months.

I don’t know about you but most of times, my desktop is full of things and stuff and so, I like having a quite clean desktop wallpaper to get a better watch ;) Here a series of 4k wallpapers ( 3840x2160 px ) Sims themed.
I know, I know … you would prefer a K-Mod update or a new object sims 4 related … Next time maybe :D Oh ! Nooo, no next time because I just finished the 2020 update of Oaksoak Hollow world for the Sims 3 ;) Many changes and much more playable ( we’re currently testing it on 2 different computers for 2 weeks now ) so it should be available very soon !
I’m a bit tired because I’m on CNN hours/day watching this incredible TV show : “America 2020″……………….
