When june and july 2021, I watch cottage living trailer and I think this phone booth can be used, After the pack release, the phone booth just decorative only. And finally, I can make this phone booth from decor into functional, sim can chat, chat with and kids sim love prank at phone booth, but adult sim can prank on phone booth too, if they have goofball and childish trait. Not only red phone booth, some Finchwick buildings are just decor too, the interaction only one like “windows shop”. But I turn Finchwick building more usefull like sim can purcashe many items. Like buy nifty knitting clothes (if you have the pack), Buy sim session T-shirt, buy some foods, and purchase crystall, voodoo dolls, and Purchase upgrade parts. I hope you like and sorry for my english writte, still learning.

For phone Booth

• This is default replacement, before install this, you must delete localthumbcache at the sims 4 document folder
• There 3 interaction like chat, chat with, and make prank a call
• Can be used by adult sim and kids sim
• Gain social and fun motive
• If using “chat with”, Gain friendship with specific sim

For Finchwick buildings

• Village Shops Clothing, not only windows shop and change outfits, now you can purchase sims session T-shirt and Nifty knitting clothes (if you have this SP)
• Village Shops Housewares, not only windows shop, I added sim can purchase voodoo doll, purchase crystall, and upgrade parts
• Village Shops Bakery, You can purchase cottage living food like pies, milk bread, and more.

But, finally I finished make this object functional. Since october 2021 always fail when convert this object include animation.

DELAYED INVITATIONS

Originally planned as an add-on for Phone Call Overhaul, this mod grew so much in scope that it turned into it’s own thing.

What it does is add more realism to (almost) every phone call in the game, by giving your sims some time between receiving the phone call and the actual situation that it triggers.

It’s easier to show than tell, so let me try and sell the idea:

Don’t you think it’s weird how sims will invite you to go somewhere and expect you to be just ready to go? Like, at least give me an hour to take a shower or something.

Oh, this sim’s throwing a birthday party! The party’s right now? What? At least give me time to buy a gift!

Of course I wanna go on a date with you, but can it be like… tomorrow?

And lastly, for those dastardly sims who don’t have the patience for these stupid phone calls, you have an option too! People don’t usually like a rude sim, though.

IMPORTANT

The mod includes select features from Phone Call Overhaul: your sims still won’t receive phone calls while sleeping, but they will get them if they’re just on low hygiene, for example. They also won’t receive most calls if they’re on vacation.

There are separate files included for each Pack. Install only those corresponding to the packs you own!

KNOWN ISSUES/LIMITATIONS

Festivalinvitations, as well as invitations for the Open MicandMeet A Celebrity events, are unaffected by the mod. Trying to add a delay to them caused issues and I couldn’t find a way to fix it. For now, they work like they do in vanilla.

Mean,EvilandBad-Mannered sims are the only ones with extra response options for now. Trying to add multiple trait-based options didn’t work properly, so I chose to stick to the mean options cause they have the most personality and are the most impactful in terms of gameplay.

For now, rejecting the follow-up phone call (the one that actually triggers the event) doesn’t produce any response from the caller. This is a limitation from the game itself, but I’ll try to see if I can work around it to add even more flavor and realism to the mod.

PLANNED FEATURES

- Adding buffs to sims after they accept/reject a phone call, both for flavor and also for keeping track of what you have scheduled;

- Adding more variety to certain phone calls, specifically the ones that are dialog-only - e.g. the Inheritance Money call. The result for most of those is always the same, and I wanna add a little more randomness to spice up the gameplay.

- Adding more phone calls! It’s such a great feature that is just poorly implemented and underused, and I want to explore it as much as I can.

TRANSLATION

This mod adds a lot of new strings, as well as changes to some existing ones. Current supported languages are:

- English and Portuguese (made by me);

- Danish (thanks to julesthedane!);

- French (thanks to Rébecca J!);

- Japanese (thanks to maru dada!).

SUMMER OF UPDATES #1 - K-707 UPDATE - MILESTONE : 95%

It’s summer in the Simsverse and nature is all blossoming, green and lush and everything that everybody loves, while temperature is not overheating, which it seems, nobody loves.

We’re back with an update for your pixelated skins ! Flowers, leafs, high grass ( and medium-not-flat-on-ground grass ) and trees have been trimmed, cleaned and watered, all over the places. EVERYWHERE. No leaf unturned. Yes, yes … we are humbled virtual garden-nerds in this game ;)

More seriously, the K-707 is, the closest to done as it ever been.

95% of ALL GREENIES are done !!!!!

Except one of two plants that seems to be within the code itself, we did as we said : all plants, trees, flowers and bushes have been k-hippied, transformed, lovingly texturized. We are still looking for all those that we haven’t done yet.

**It might not seem, but it is an important milestone. **

This game is a beast, working for each and every files that are everywhere and nowhere is exhausting at times. But it’s done :) Finally, that part of the game is over and we are less incline to cringe whenever we load a save. A bit of relief is welcome on our roadmap of retexturing the game.

Hi All,

As many are aware, the April patch caused problems with custom content and mods. We all want the game to be updated, and sometimes the outcome is a bit unexpected (by players and game creators alike). 

The issue has been reported to EA HERE. Similar issues have resulted from Sims 4 patches in the past, and EA fixed the problem on their end. Their rep has stated that they are investigating the issue in the post linked above. There is no reason to think they will not fix this unintended consequence of updating the game. Give them time to take a look :)
