It looks like K-Pop idols HyunA and Dawn are engaged! On February 3, the couple took to Instagram to share a new set of rings. “Marry Me,” Dawn’s post reads. “Of course it’s a yes,” HyunA’s says in Korean.

On January 26, 2022, it was announced that RBW, a record label known for artists such as MAMAMOO, Purple Kiss, Oneus, Onewe, and VROMANCE, will invest 9 billion won (approximately 30.5 million gold) to acquire a 39.1% stake in DSP Media and incorporate the agency as a subsidiary. At the same time, RBW CEO Kim Jinwoo also becomes the CEO of DSP Media.
A few other plans of the record label were also announced, including investment in NFT and metaverse.
DSP Media was founded in 1991, and currently features APRIL, KARD, and MIRAE among other kpop artists, as well as Heo Youngji (ex-KARA) as a solo artist. In the 90s it was, along with SM, the biggest label in kpop before the big three formed - they had artists like Sechskies, Fin.K.L and Click-B under their wing.

On the night of January 18, Hwiyoung and Chani of SF9 went to a pub, much later than closing time, to celebrate Chani’s birthday by violating quarantine rules. The incident was reported to the police because the ordinance against being on the premises after 9 p.m. was violated.

On January 18 at 1 a.m., we learned that Hwiyoung and Chani violated COVID-19 security and restrictions in Seoul by meeting with friends.
At the time, Hwiyoung and Chani visited a pub in Nonhyeon-dong after receiving a call from a friend to celebrate Chani’s birthday, the night after their schedule ended, resulting in their violation of the restriction rules.
It is clear that Hwiyoung and Chani acted thoughtlessly and this deserves criticism. We also want to sincerely apologize for the negligent management of our artists, and we will carefully manage and prepare countermeasures to ensure that such a situation does not occur again.
Once again, we want to sincerely apologize for causing distress and disappointment to many people through this incident.”
