#multiverse
You are one human (at least, I’m going to assume you’re a human, no aliens allowed) out of over 7 billion, on a planet out of billions, in a galaxy out of millions, in a Universe. That makes you rather small. What if there’s more than one Universe? That’s bound to make you utterly insignificant compared to the scale of the Universe, or possible Universes. This is what we usually refer to as the Multiverse.
The Multiverse (meta-universe/metaverse) is the hypotheical set of multiple possible universes. We tend to assume that if there is more than one Universe, they’d be just like us, with the same physical laws. There is said to be various universes within the multiverse that are called parallel universes.
You may have only heard about Multiverses in Science-Fiction and Fantasy litterature or films, however, it’s a common fact that science fiction often becomes science fact! Multiverses have been hypothesized in astronomy, religion, cosmology, physics, philosophy and transpersonal psychology. Therefor, there are many different theories of how they would be. Mentioning only a few:
An infinite Universe: This theory proposes that there are an infinite amount of Universes, containing an infinite number of Hubble volumes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubble_volume), all having the same physical laws.
Chaotic inflation theory: The Multiverse is seen as a whole that is forever stretching, however, some regions of space stop stretching and form bubbles. You can think of it as gas pockets in a loaf of rising bread (apart from the fact that we don’t get bread that stretches forever, that’d be a bit scary). These bubbles are embryonic level 1 multiverses.
Picture above: Every disk is a bubble Universe (Universe 1 to Universe 6 are different bubbles, they have physically constants that are different from our Universe).
The cycle theory: An infinite amount of Big Bang crushes. The big bang never ending. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclic_model)
Great 10 minute video on the Multiverse with Dr. Michio Kaku explaining:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZiROWO6iVs
The theory that is mentioned in the video, that we live in a soap bubble among other soap bubbles is being tested by physicists. They are currently searching for disk-like patterns in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation. Relic heat radiation left over from the Big Bang could provide evidence of collisions between other universes and our own. However, physicists needed to be sure whether the patterns were the results of collisions or random patterns in noisy data.
A team of cosmologists based at University College London, Imperial College London and the Perimeter Institute for Theoreotical physical are trying to solve this problem and think they have tackled it. The team ran simulations of what the sky would look like without cosmic collisions and developed an algorithm (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algorithm) to determine which fit better with the wealth of CMB data from NASA’s Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe.
Stephen Feeney (PhD student at UCL) created the powerful computer algorithm to search for the tell-tale signatures of collisions between bubbles universes and said: “The work represents an opportunity to test a theory that is truly mind-blowing: that we exist within a vast multiverse, where other universes are constantly popping into existence.”
Now with the team’s algorithm, which is much harder to fool when it comes to telling the difference between universe collisions and random noisy data.
This theory has received a lot of criticism for being “unrealistic”. However, they tend to forget about the fact that humans got executed for saying their thoughts out loud on possible extraterrestrial life or perhaps going against the theory of the Earth being the center of the Universe.

Peter: *venting* -and then, even though I saved the day, Jay Jonah Jameson called me a web slinging menace!
Eddie: Let me go see this prick, I’ll tear his head off.
Peter: Literally or Figuratively?
Eddie:Yes.
What if these 2 are the same version of Strange?

My entry for XP-Pen’s 4-Koma Manga competition!
The likelihood that these Multiverse of Madness theories are going to happen (according to me):
-Mephisto is the villain (1/10 because Mephisto theorizers are clowns.)
-Scarlet Witch is the villain (10/10. That is definitely happening even if it is a variant.)
-Wong dies (7/10. I don’t want him to die, but it would open up the spot for Doctor Strange to be sorcerer supreme)
-Wanda kills Wong (6/10. Most likely but not as likely as him dying in general)
-Professor X appears (8/10. I just feel like it’s very plausible)
-Jean Grey appears (3/10. I highly doubt that she will.)
-A variant of Iron Man will appear (5/10. I have no idea)
-Tom Cruise will play said Iron Man variant (2/10. No. They will want to save an actor of that degree for a more important role I feel like)
-Kaecilius returns (5/10. It’s 50/50 for me)
-Wolverine appears (6/10. Less likely than the Professor but still likely)
-The Fantastic 4 are teased (9/10. Highly likely. Especially in an after or mid credits scene)
-Loki appears (8/10. Very likely. Especially if it’s a variant)
-We see older teen/adult versions of Wiccan and Speed (10/10 because I hope so for the sake of the Young Avengers)
-Ghost Rider played by Norman Reedus appears!? (You know what…10/10 because I just want that so badly)
-Magneto appears (1/10. Not happening yall.)
-Enchantress is in the movie (4/10. I feel like that is a hard maybe)
-The entire X-Men appear (0/10. Yall are clowns if you believe that.)
-Deadpool appears (4/10. I’d love it, but I doubt it…maybe in after credits.)
-Christine dies (9/10. Yeah probably)
-Miles Morales appears (2/10. Marvel doesn’t love us enough to do that)
We’ll see if I right in a few months

I was correct about Professor X. I’m going to increase the Magneto likelihood from 1/10 to 5/10. I’m also increasing the Tom Cruise theory to 6/10. Thank you for your time. Watch Moon Knight

There’s no actual spoilers for Doctor Strange : In the Multiverse of Madness — don’t worry!

Idk if someone here (or anywhere, really) posted something about that kind of concept already, but here’s my thought:
>>A universe where Kaecilius did not chose the Dark Dimension path and instead became the best version of himself. And maybe even succeeded the Ancient One as the Sorcerer Supreme from his universe?
Yep, that’s it. That’s my post. Enjoy xD
so@frostironfudge sent this to me on Instagram and I think this might have some substance to it but I have my own twist to this theory
KILLMONGER AS BLACK PANTHER
A BLACK PANTHER VARIANT FROM A DIFF UNIVERSE WHO WAS PLAYED BY KILLMOMGER
okay so this might be the same scene?
STRANGE IS WEARING THE SAME OUTFIT THE PLACEMENT IS THE SAME AND THE RED SCENE HAS THE DECAYED TREES IN THE BACKGROUND??

This reminds me of that biotechnology that’s being developed that can be injected straight into a person’s mind, but instead of using it for like, you know, education, pleasure, medicine, etc., they’re planning on using it to torture convicts, making them believe they’ve served a 1000 year sentence.

Wanda would kidnap a town and hold them hostage for Vision, and Vision would kidnap innocent ppl to feed to zombie Wanda to keep her alive. damn these bitches crazy, i love it.

Broke: Barbie’s many different careers are a way to sell dolls and accessories to little kids.
Woke:Barbie had every single one of those careers and is an immortal timeless being.
Bespoke:Barbie’s different careers are different versions of Barbie from across the multiverse who occasionally swap place with each other or combine into one Barbie.
SO THERE’S SOMETHING Y’ALL SHOULD KNOW ABOUT…
Attack of the clones
I have often used Barbie to explain Greek mythology, and people laugh until I explain it, and then they get really serious and thoughtful.
I say, “The Greeks ascribed aspects to gods. Apollo had many aspects, but all were Apollo. He’s like Barbie that way. She’s an astronaut, a veterinarian, and a rollerskater, but no matter which of those things she is in the moment, she is always still Barbie. She is Barbie in her aspect as.”
Then people get not only the idea of “aspects” of godhood, but also, well, the changeable yet eternal nature of Barbie.
Listen, I want nothing to do with this multiverse frenzy going on unless i hear Loki’s name and i hear it uttered with the respect and chaos it deserves

Casey Bloys, chief content officer for HBO and HBO Max, told TheWrap that WarnerMedia is taking a different approach today. “In the past, you know with The CW, DC would run on The CW, [Warner Bros.] would do films [but] there wasn’t a lot of overlap or coordination,” Bloys said. “And a big thing going forward for WarnerMedia, and DC specifically, is having everybody involved in DC talking, so that a show on Max is aware of a movie, and is aware of a CW show. They’re all kind of working in concert so that there’s nobody overlapping. There’s no stories that don’t make sense as a result of that. So they’ve been trying very hard to kind of get that going.”
This new goal allows for the films to co-exist with the Arrowverse and with planned HBO Max shows like Peacemaker, Green Lantern and Gotham City PD – the TV show spinoff of The Batman film – as they take place in their own universes. “You don’t have to pick one or the other, you can love both. And they do both exist in this great Multiverse. I do think that moving forward, there’s more opportunities for us to do this sort of stuff,” Bloys said.
Referring to portrayers of Wonder Woman, Aquaman and The Flash in film, Bloys said, “On one Earth, you have Gal [Gadot] and Jason [Momoa] and Ezra [Miller], as this Justice League and you can continue telling these stories, while on another Earth, you can have a more grounded, real, Year Two Batman. There is that one Earth, that greater Earth with this existing Justice League and another that’s sort of happening with that Year Two Batman.”
“And of course there’s outliers like Joker, that doesn’t exist on either Earth, but that’s OK,” he concluded. “Matt Reeves can continue to build out his Gotham.”
Was This necessary? A male raven? Why?!!
