IMFACT was dissolved on 03/01/2022. All members’ contracts have expired and they have not decided to extend them.

IMFACT consists of members 5 members: Jian, Jeup, Taeho, Sang and Ungjae. They debuted in January 27, 2016 with the mini-album LOLLIPOP and the debut song of the same name. During their career they released three more mini-albums “PRISM”, “ONLY U” and “L.L”.

Lee Jian, the group leader on his IG wrote that despite the termination of the contracts, this does not mean the boys will not return in the future as a group under a different management.

Star Empire has issued a statement that the contracts of IMFACT members have ended as of 03/01/2022 and have not been renewed. All members have decided to leave the label.

IMFACT’s Lee Sang is the third member to leave Star Empire after his contract expires. 

IMFACT’s Ungjae has not renewed his contract with Star Empire and is leaving the label, he announced on his SNS. Jeup from IMFACT just like Ungjae, did not renew his contract with Star Empire and is leaving the label.

At the moment, only Jian and Taeho, who are doing military service, are left at the label.

Jae from DAY6 announced on his Twitter that he is going on hiatus and will not be participating in the team’s group activities.

YG has announced that TOP is leaving the label ‼️
According to the information, this does not mean leaving the band and he will promote with the whole group when his schedule allows. Plus, BIGBANG itself is coming back to life! We can expect a new song to be released in the spring, and an MV will be recorded soon!

Jay Park the father of a new k-pop band?
An industry insider has revealed that Jay Park is starting work on creating a label for a kpop group!
Jay already mentioned a few years ago that he would like to create a kpop group in the future, because he himself was an idol and knows how it all looks like, and knows what such young people need.
Most likely the investor will be Kakao Entertainment. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but Kakao reveals that intensive discussions are underway and the investment is expected to be one of the more expensive ones.

It’s been almost 3yrs since I’ve posted stuff here. Sorry about that…I moved back to Korea and life happened and laziness…ahhhahaha I still may not post stuff that often but it’s a start! 

Heard this song from a new tv program called “The Call” and this show is about famous/popular/legendary musicians collaborating and creating new music.

This particular song is called ‘Lullaby’ created by ‘BewhY’ (비와이) and this Korean legendary singer/ songwriter ‘Seunghoon Lee’ (신승훈). This vid has an English sub so for those interested in the lyrics, listen to it w/ the subtitle on. The lyrics and the music style I thought was touching/amazing and wanted to share this with everyone who might be interested in Koran music, not just the famous KPOP Genre. 

p.s haven’t really dug into the lyrics of the English subtitle so can’t vouch how accurate it is but I think it’s pretty decent translation.

Been a while on updating about Korean music! So today I’m going to introduce you guys to this band call 혁오 밴드 (Hyuk-oh Band). This band is the hot new indie band that’s getting a lot of attention for their unique music style and vocal that’s not typically kpop.

I think 와리가리 (wa-li ga-li) is like maybe a southern accent dialect or just a play of words 와라 가라 (wa-la ga-la) meaning comes and goes.
