I don’t know if I ever posted about it on here, but for a little bit over a month I have been working with an incredible cast of artists for this Avatar: The Last Airbender Fan Zine with 100% of the proceeds going to The Okra Project in support of the greater BLM movement.

It would have been so nice to go back to the scene where Zuko holds Katara’s necklace in front of her like this back in Book 1, only this time it would be her own betrothal necklace.
I combined both the fire nation and water tribe symbols into a new design and I love how they merged into one another effortlessly. As if it was always meant to be ….

Tradisyon nila Katara at Zuko gawin to tuwing first day mula junior high hanggang senior high, pero syempre mas nauna nagtapos si Zuko kaya ayun naiwan nalang si Katara mag-isa. Pagkatapos ng 2 years na hindi naguusap, biglang magkikita sila ulit sa first day of college ni Katara sa Jollibee sa malapit sa Vito Cruz station
