LIVE

Went on a retro dino frenzy. Ceratosaurus, Centrosaurus, and Kentrosaurus. Bright, late 80s/early 90s style.

Just finished this dinosaur hybrid following an art prompt by Emily Stepp and suggestions by people on Twitter. Enjoy!

KENTAROT

The Plated Pokemon

Type:Rock/Fairy
Ability:Thagomizer*
Height:3′07″/1.1m
Weight:213.8lbs/97kg
Evolutionary Chain: Restore from Crystal Plate -> Kentarot -> [Lvl. 30] -> Krystegite

Despite being highly sought after by treasure hunters, for years no one knew the spade-shaped crystals were the fossilized plates of Kentarot. Depending on how they angle their plated crystals, light shining through them can be either a soothing light show or a blinding defense mechanism.

Notable Moves: Flash, Baby-Doll Eyes, Take Down, Tail Slap, Rock Tomb, Dazzling Gleam, Dragon Tail, Ancient Power

KRYSTEGITE

The Crystaline Pokemon

Type:Rock/Fairy
Ability:Thagomizer*
Height:7′03″/2.2m
Weight:683.4lbs/310kg
Evolutionary Chain: Restore from Crystal Plate -> Kentarot -> [Lvl. 30] -> Krystegite

Jagged, plated crystals lining Krystegite’s back not only armors it against marauding predators, they also emit a soothing aura. Because of this, smaller Pokemon tend to flock around Krystegite for protection, which also keeps it from getting lonely. The jagged gems at the end of its tail can rip into an armored car as if it were cardboard.

Notable Moves: Iron Defense, Endure, Rock Slide, Iron Tail, Aqua Tail, Power Gem, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Gem Cutter**

*Thagomizer:Damaging Tail-based moves are powered up by 50%

**Gem Cutter: The user swings a powerful tail tipped with iron-hard gemstones into the target. This attack simultaneously does Rock-type damage.
Type:Fairy
PP: 10 (16 max)
Power: 90
Accuracy:100

I’m cheating and using this as my second day of Dinovember. They’re Dinosaurs, it counts!

Anyway, every Stegosaur Fakemon I see is either Rock/Steel or Rock/Electric. So being the contrarian I am, I’m chose something a bit more unexpected.
