Happy Wednesday to everyone out there. I continue to say that I hope you got everything done that you needed to accomplish today.
Today I went another day with the business casual look sans tie (nothing was much matching the color palette). I went with a mixture of blue and gray to even out the week. A light blue patterned dress shirt, light gray chinos, dark gray suit jacket, and a pair of tassel loafers as well.
With that said, we move on to Thursday and the beginning of the second half of the week.

Happy Tuesday to everyone, and a blessed Tuesday it is. I hope you guys stayed happy and healthy out there.
Today I went with some more earth tones as those seem to be some go to color choices for me. I kept it kind of casual side (no tie today), but everything was up to standard. First a white OCBD dress shirt, olive/dark green pants, a brown patterned sport coat (probably not, still learning the difference), and a pair loafers from Johnston and Murphy.
Nothing too fancy, but as I tell my kiddos each day, I dress this way because I can and want to, even my “church shoes”. With that said, onwards to Wednesday and halfway through the week.

Happy Thursday to everyone out who is still living, surviving, and thriving. I thought yesterday was rough, but today gave yesterday a run for its money. But guess what, still got through the day looking good.
I really wanted to incorporate some unique color arrangements so today I went with aqua, purple, and khaki. I did my best to coordinate the socks as well, but I couldn’t quite the color just right. I’m still increasing my collection of tan colored, so the selection has been slim. But I do love these loafers from the Johnston & Murphy Cellini collection (even though they are a tad bit tight on the right toe region, and think it comes to down the “arrow” shape it has).
With that said, I’m continuing to add more and more to my wardrobe. And now we move on to Friday and the weekend.

Happy Wednesday to you all, and I can only hope that you made it through the day without many scrapes and bruises, but hey at least we’re halfway through the week.
So yesterday as I was scrolling through different posts on FB groups I’m on I happened to notice a post about color coordination, and I figured heck, why not try some more off the wall combos I rarely remember. And so today I did a mix of red (dress pants), green (dress shirt), grey, and a bit of black (tie). Of course I went with a pair of brown shoes, and this time I decided on a pair of wingtips from Bostonian.
All in all, it was a little out of the ordinary, but I think it turned out well. But with that said, we move on to Thursday.

Happy Tuesday to all and man oh man was that a long day. Today was quite an eventually day, but hey we got through it looking good as all get out.
I wanted to go for another suit look, so I decided upon this navy blue blazer from Joseph Abboud that I got at Men’s Wearhouse.
Originally when I had received I automatically noticed that sleeves were too short (genetics at its finest), but once I got that alteration completed, boy oh boy was it looking good.
Besides the jacket I also have on a blue checked shirt, dark gray dress pants, another tie picked up from Goodwill (always a good bargain at times), a pair of wide ribbed goldtoe socks, and one of my only pairs of Bostonian kiltie tassel loafers.
With that said we move on to Wednesday and getting halfway through the week.

Happy Thursday to all you fantastic looking folks out there, and I hope you had an awesome day as well. Today wasn’t as bad, and given that we were delayed two hours in starting time, that made the day better. However, it still called for getting “professional”, and I always enjoy doing that. I went with a navy shirt and dark grey pants, and lastly a pair of Cole Haan kitlie buckle loafers (it’s mostly the kiltie for me). Still working on those fine little details, but with that said we move on to Friday and the weekend.

I decided today on a black and white patterned shirt and light blue pants as well. I rounded out the outfit with a pair of Cole Haan loafers (as always at this point). Happy Wednesday out there to all of you awesome looking people. I hope it was enjoyable and forgiving and had you saying, I can’t wait for Friday. Today I went a little different, and ventured out deep into the color palette. I decided to a maroon shirt and my salmon colored pants a try, and followed up with a pair of woven tassel loafers from Cole Haan. It’s about the boldest that I have gone, but it worked better than I anticipated. With that said we move on to Thursday.

Happy Friday to everyone and to all those who had a full week of work. As we end out the first week of the new year I hope you all have started on those resolutions. For myself, continue to improve myself and making small little changes to make life a little better. Starting by increasing the variety of wardrobe. Today I was lucky enough to wear a pair of loafers that needed to be resoled, and they feel so amazing on the feet. I almost reverted back the Khakis but I stuck with the jeans.
