This is the only Kdrama that I had few tears shed because of sadness HAHAHAHAHA. I would never forget how Mr. Queen had me laughing like an idiot. I knew that this will have a happy ending, though there’s not much closure with the Mr. and the Queen’s character, I think it should be understood hahahaha. Another, I thought I might be needing a second season, I’m wrong when I found out, there were secret episodes and those secret episodes made me realized this series will be my most favorite from now on. I watched this in the first place because of my liking to Kim Jung-Yun in CLOY but ended up falling in love again in the second lead I’m crestfallen at how his character ended. Like he’s crazily in love with the queen that he didn’t realize she changed Btw, how can I not mention the squad that made me insane and lunatic. Court Lady Choi who unveiled the palace’s secrets and her kaleidoscope, Hong Yeon who has a lot of suitors, The Royal Chef Man Bok HAHAHAHHAHA and the sidekicks❤ All the characters made this series alive even it faced a bit of challenged because of its history inclined story

First time seeing this series this 2022 and I didn’t expect too much though I’m seeing a lot of advertisements with the two main characters who were currently dating But after few episodes, I knew it. I knew that I’ll fall in love and cry harder till the end! However, I will never forget how the second lead couple ended like that I still cry when I remember how their love story ended Still a good ending for the main love team♥ In love with their acting skills❤❤❤

I finished watching Mr. Queen yesterday. It was what I needed, like bubblegum (although I’m not one to chew bubblegum, I’d rather have a candy) distracting my thoughts of doom and gloom in the world (LOL).
I was absent for a bit here, well… longer than I thought! I know, I know, it’s been ages but my head had this notion that If I temporarily distanced myself from social media (including tumblr) that I will get things that needed doing, done. How foolish and naive that thought was! Life just has this neverendingness to it. Just as you think, great, nearly done, or one down, along comes other things that need attention. Life have a lot of things planned, great ones, and devastating ones. Life gives you pure happiness but also heartbreaking and unfair situations. Lifes like that, and life goes on.
Anyway, back to this romcom. I more than liked this, it was lighthearted, I loved the story line and best of all it made me laugh. The plot was great, the chemistry was fantastic! The reason I only liked this although I do like this very much, but not love this is… the kissing. You’re judging me, Feck Off! A lot of the kiss(es) was just bump to the lips or both are just still or very conservative on their lips movement. The kissing just did not show the passion that was being implied prior to the kiss. I know that some Asian actors/actress are concious and shy about intimate moments like this…. but… you are acting anyway… so just kiss each other like you mean it!
Despite this being a romcom, if you really pay attention, it has a lot of things going on. There’s friendships, family, loyalty, blind loyalty, unrequited love, falling in love, falling out of love, loss, traditions, breaking traditions, bullying, intrigue, political machinations, assasination plots, corruption, etc., etc.
i’m not the biggest saeguk dramas fan, i tend to get bored or not interested at all about the plot nor characters, but this drama tho!!!!! i had so much fun from beginning ‘till the end, the ost is a masterpiece (i love norazo, and when i first listened to bong hwan i couldn’t believe that they sang the main theme!!), the acting was so on point! (i mean, queen shin hye sun will obviously deliver any kind of character, what was i expecting??). i’m just happy that this drama exists lmao. problem is: saeguk dramas will have to work extra hard because this drama has definitely set the bar waaay high up. Thank you for an amazing experience that i wasn’t expecting at all, Mr. Queen!
