- the few minutes Roxy was onscreen were glorious then the thing I was dreading happened -______- it’s such BS! obviously they just wanted to get rid of her bc they didn’t want to figure out how to include her in the rest of the story

- they found a way for Harry to still be alive so why not Roxy?? -__-
- and why was she just at home helping Eggsy??? she must’ve had her own hobbies????? it would’ve been nice to see them???
- she should have been been with Eggsy and Merlin when they went to Kentucky and then what if Clara turned out to be bi and she rejected Whiskey and Eggsy but went for Roxy and it would’ve been another reference of sorts to the first film! there, I improved the story, @ me Marv
- also compare the treatment of her death with Merlin’s: he went out in such a lovely way, with the support of his friends(?), but Roxy’s death was just like welp
- I was hoping they’d have a funeral service for her or something at the end like they alluded to in the beginning (“after the mission then you may shed a tear”) but nope
- I’m also displeased somewhat with Merlin’s death because literally as soon as he finally got a chance to go out into the field, he died??? Eggsy had a freaking mine sweeper though???? again I think they didn’t know to do with Merlin in the final act so they just killed him
- I feel like there were too many references to the first one maybe. makes the film seem less able to stand on its own, i.e. weaker. but the references were incorporated reasonably well, I guess. and as a fan I enjoyed them
- also the action wasn’t as good imo idk I guess it was because it seemed to be less about skill and more about gadgets??
- anyway that’s just a lot of criticism because they’re actual thoughts, as opposed to stuff like “omg Elton John!! ”
- but really that “FRIEND” moment at the end was my fave
- also the “with Valentine kidnapping all these celebrities I took advantage of the confusion” thing so good
- Julianne was so good omg
- also I don’t think it was as funny?? but there were still a lot of funny parts and I will laugh when I think of them in the coming days
