WARDENS and NOBLE POKEMON
There are special Pokémon in the Hisui region that have received a mysterious blessing. Some of these Pokémon, known as nobles, are particularly powerful, while others are said to willingly assist the people of the region. Your encounters with these special Pokémon will be a key part of your story.
The people of the Hisui region hold a great respect for these special Pokémon and task wardens to look after them. The wardens protect the special Pokémon by making sure their territories remain safe and by providing offerings of food and water.
Warden Mai
Looks after a Noble Wyrdeer and battles alongside her Munchlax who she’s had since childhood. The two are more like siblings than trainer and Pokemon
She resembles and is likely the ancestor of Marley
Warden Lian
Lian cares for a Noble Kleavor. Although young, he was given the roll of Warden due to his exceptional talents
He resembles and is likely an ancestor of Clay, The Ground-type gym leader of the Unova region
Warden Iscan
Iscan watches over a Noble Basculegion, though he is easy to frighten and is afraid of ghost-types
Warden Arezu
She watches over a “Lady Pokemon”. Feeling a great deal of responsibility as a Warden, she often tries to solve problems on her own
She resembles and is likely the ancestor of Mars, a Team Galactic commander
Frenzied Noble Pokémon
A strange phenomenon is causing nobles to suddenly fly into a frenzy, making them incredibly difficult to rein in. As part of the Survey Corps, you will be called upon to quell the frenzies of the nobles.
So they just decided to drop new info with no warning in the middle of the night so uuuh
KLEAVOR
Bug/Rock
“Special minerals found in the Hisui region cause Scyther to evolve into this Pokémon. Parts of its body have hardened into stone. The stone parts often get chipped during fierce battles, and Kleavor that have survived many battles will display larger chipping across their bodies. However, the chipping actually makes these stone parts sharper, increasing their slicing power. It is said that the people of Hisui once used pieces of stone that had fallen from Kleavor to craft tools.”
