Making a watermelon hat for the GF’s sister.
How are the color choices?
Question time.
Is there any functional difference between winding two yarns together in the cake, vs having two separate cakes?
Still have to weave in ends and block(yay. ) But after that my part of the coal “Sword of Gryffindor mitts” is done.
Well. Short of weaving in all 70 ends on this thing.(and adjusting dupe stitch tension)
The watermelon hat is now complete.
Well.
Being treated like a pariah at work.
And being blamed for it at home.
But at least the watermelon hat is coming along nicely.

One of my most recent favorite cast-on’s is #plusshawl by the very talented @olgajazzyknits! It has been quite a while since a shawl found it’s way on to my needles, but I am finding this knit quite difficult to put down. After the completion of each row, I just find myself saying, “one more….ok, maybe two more”, until I find myself completing another repeat!
