Trenton Doyle Hancock, African American, and his wife JooYoung Choi, Korean American, are both critically acclaimed American artists! Trenton makes prints, videos, drawings, sculptures, individual performances, and collaged felt paintings. He is well known for his artwork featuring the Mounds and the Vegans, two opposing forces that he created that represent the eternal battle between good and evil. Trenton has won numerous awards over the years and he was one of the youngest artists to ever be featured in the prestigious Whitney Biennial when he was selected in 2000 for the first time. His work has appeared in numerous exhibitions, storybooks, a mural at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, and even a ballet. JooYoung is equally talented with her artwork through paintings, video, sculpture, animation, music, and installation art multidisciplinary world-building. She is famous for creating a theme she calls the Cosmic Womb, which is semiautobiographical representing her experience as a Korean adoptee in the US. Her artwork has been shown globally in numerous exhibits and media outlets including the Asian Pacific American Experience, the National Museum of Mexican Art, and the Korean Global News Network. Trenton and JooYoung married in 2016 and we wish them continued success and a lifetime of love and eternal blessings!

Say hello to David, Korean American, and his fiance, Arlene, Haitian Canadian! David and Arlene met in an AMBW FB group and clicked right away. Both David and Arlene were adopted by White families and this common experience helped them understand each other better. After meeting in person a few times, they were engaged to be married at the end of 2017. They are in the process of having Arlene and her two children move from Canada to the US to be with David, and they have experienced many ups and downs with this process which they detail in their YT channel. Say hello to Lyle, South African, and his wife, Suhyun, South Korean! Lyle and Suhyun are the founders of Genius English Camps which takes Asian students to Cape Town, New York, and Auckland to improve their English skills and give them a broader perspective of the world. The two of them met by chance following one of Lyle’s soccer games and they became good friends. They were actually friends for 1.5 years before they started dating! Today, they are coming up on their first year wedding anniversary and they couldn’t be happier! We wish Lyle and Suhyun continued success and abundant blessings!

A huge congratulations to Gene, AfrAm, and his wife, Eunji, Korean, on their recent marriage! We love the way that Gene and Eunji absolutely adore each other and are so clearly meant to be together! Say hello to Tayo, Nigerian, and his wife, Kyunghwa, South Korean. They first met in Busan at language exchange meetings when Tayo was learning to speak Korean. They lived near each other and both enjoyed movies, so they had lots of movie dates in the beginning. Later after Tayo was due to move to Germany for his Ph.D. studies, he asked Kyunghwa to move to Germany with him and today they live together in Germany. Say hello to Kyungho, Korean, and his wife, Dianna, African American who were married in 2018 after 7 years together! Dianna says they waited a few years for Kyungho’s parents to realize that the couple was truly in love and that nothing would change that fact. Slowly, but surely Kyungho’s mother and father came around and today they all have a beautiful family relationship in Korea! Kyungho and Dianna recently welcomed adorable twins to their family and everyone in Korea really loves their twins. This is a really touching video of David and Dain traveling to Korea so that David can ask Dain’s parents for their permission to marry Dain. Terrence Howard, multi-generational African / European American, announced his second engagement to his former wife, Mira Pak, Korean Canadian over the holiday. Terrence and Mira were first married in 2013 and then legally divorced 2 years later in 2015 with little explanation shortly after their first child was born. Even though they were divorced, they stayed together as a couple and welcomed a second child together in 2016. This will be Terrence’s 5th marriage and 3rd wife as he was married to his first wife 2 times as well. Terrence cemented the engagement with a huge 7-carat stunner ring. Terrence, who is now 50, says that it took him 45 years to find Mira, and he wants to spend the rest of eternity at her side! Mira is a former model and restaurant owner. We wish them much love and many blessings in their 2nd marriage and continuation of their love relationship!

Will they or won’t they have a relationship? That’s the question that the NatGeo television series, “Mars” leaves us with about the characters Commander Hana Seung and Mission Engineer Robert Foucault. The characters are played by Jihae Kim, Korean-American, and Sammi Robiti, Nigerian American, both of whom do an excellent job in their roles. While they share a kiss in this scene of season 2, episode 5, the future of these two characters as a couple is not certain. Let’s see how it plays out. Great series for all of our sci-fi fans!
