I actually hated this so much in that game. We all know she’s cannonly an elementary schooler, but by saying she’s eighteen they can get away with putting her in her underwear and being perverted like that towards her character without worrying about pedophilia issues with anyone important.
It’s actually a big thing to do with her character? In her backstory, she’s a csa survivor and she acts like this because of her trauma. Especially because in-game, she calls out how disgusting people who like “lolis” and pedophiles are. The whole calling herself 18 is a reference to something that most “loli” characters do (being older than they actually look to actually avoid pedophilia). It’s gross, and Kotoko literally says that she wants all pedophiles to die a horrible death because she’s a victim of severe pedophilia. Yet, she acts like this? Why? Because it’s how she’s been trained to act and cope with her trauma. She puts Komaru into the machine so she can feel how Kotoko felt all those years.
