when you came back exhausted from school you went to your room straight away. as you entered the room you noticed a white envelope on your bed. you frowned your eyebrows and slowly approached the bed. you took the envelope in your hands and saw familiar messy handwriting. is it really happening? you thought to yourself. you opened the envelope quickly and sat on bed. you took a deep breath and you felt your eyes watering.

“to my dearest y/n,
it’s been a really long time. the last time we saw each other was at our last day of eleventh grade. it’s already been a year since. i’m sorry i haven’t talked to you since i moved. i tried to get comfortable in a new city and school. the city and people in my school aren’t that bad as i thought. i actually made a couple of new friends and i even joined school’s football club… and what about you? how are you? is everything fine? do you still talk to mark, jeno, jaemin, renjun, chenle and jisung? if yes then how are they? do you guys still hang out at our favourite cafee after school on every friday? please tell me because i’m curious.. i actually heard you cut your hair to shoulders. to be honest i never thought you would do it since you loved your long hair so much. i bet you still look cute. so y/n… do you still remember me? if you don’t want to know me anymore i’ll understand, it’s okay. i know i shouldn’t leave all of you without a word. i just… it was really hard for me. i didn’t know how to tell you about it, i don’t even know if i would be able to.. so.. please.. reply to me.. even if you hate me right now, tell me about it. i won’t be mad. i promise… lastly i want to tell you i love you. i never told you this because i was a coward. i was scared i would ruin our precious friendship and things wouldn’t be the same anymore. but now i think i don’t have anything to lose anymore… i hope you’ll answer me one day. i’m looking forward it.
