Last week I had a very interesting conversation with a few colleagues about body positivity. At some point one of my colleagues said it was very brave of some people to expose themselfs (anonymously) on (sex) blogs. And while there are lots of people exposing themselfs, there are also lots of people who struggle with their appearance and are afraid to show themselfs to others!
So today i was thinking: why not show some appreciation to those (especially women) who are insecure how they vagina/vulva look!
First of all, everyone’s genitals are different, and that’s a really great thing. Variations in size, shape, structure, color, and sensitivity abound. It wouldn’t be normal if we all had the same looks right?
About the labia minora: Well some lips might be small and short, and others might be larger and be visible past the outer lips. Some will be bumpy-textured (they are made of the same type of tissue as the scrotum) and be wrinkled, some will be smooth. Some will plump up noticeably and change color as blood flows into the tissues when arousal happens. I have seen a few and I must tell you that the uniqueness of a vagina (size, shape, etc.) makes it appealing. Often, one side of the lips will hang lower than the other, just like one of the testicles of men hangs lower than the other! That’s totally normal. Some lips will be pale pink, others dark pink, red, dark red, purplish, light brown, or dark brown.
About the Labia Majora: Some lips will appear more closed, hiding the labia minora, some won’t. Some will have more pubic hair on them than others.
At the end of the day it’s still a vagina, and the appearence of your private parts makes each and every one of you unique! Don’t let anybody else say different! Ladies learn about yourself, use a mirror, explore every inch of your body (alone or with your partner). Our body makes us who we are!

Here’s the plan.
Whether we like it or not, tumblr will not allow our content anymore after December 17th. Because we have over 7000 followers that we do not want to lose here on tumblr (we love you all dearly), we had to come up with a solution to keep going, keep our followers informed and keep tumblr moderators happy.
We have found a solution and here’s the plan:
As of now, we will start hosting all our new and existing panels on our own website and in better quality than here on tumblr.
Meanwhile, we will keep posting all our future panels here on tumblr in a censored, SFW manner. We have edited all our previously posts to make them SFW as well. Each new and updated post will contain a link to the uncensored version of the panel on our website.
We will also continue using tumblr to keep all of you posted on new developments regarding Gynodiversity. For example the release date for our upcoming coffee table book and information on how to order your copy.
We are looking forward to publishing lots more panels in the future and hope to welcome all of you to our website soon.
One more thing. We gave the woman in our header image a nice pair of granny panties, just to be sure we will not offend anyone…

New: classification of female genital variation
Over the last two years, we have been hard at work to create a paper containing a comprehensive, richly illustrated classification for the naturally occurring anatomical variation in the female external genitalia. The purpose of the paper is to make the huge range of shapes, textures and colours even more obvious and to create awareness about and acknowledgment of the extent of variation.
In the paper, we distinguish several anatomical aspects with regards to the structure, texture and colour of the different parts of the female external genitalia. For each aspect, we outline the different variations and the probability of of each variation occurring.

Our coffee table book
