How many times have you died?
Louis’ a fucking expert at it by now.When he falls asleep Louis experiences the deaths of those around him. The universe has a strict ‘eye-for-an-eye’ policy when it comes to life and death, so he stopped trying to play God a long time ago. Except with Niall. He doesn’t usually regret saving Niall unless the idiot’s dragging him out to socialize. Louis’s not one for socializing. Doesn’t like being able to put names to the faces, it tends to sour his breakfast when they’re dead by morning.
Niall is relentless until Louis agrees to join in in a night of fun. Through the crowd he zeroes in on that boy, the one behind the mic with shiny eyes and shiny lips and shiny teeth. He looks like fun. Louis quickly finds out Harry, much more of a man than a boy where it counts, is a lot of fun. Over and over again they collide, until they’ve hooked up so many times it can’t really be called a No Strings Attached sort of thing anymore.
Every night Louis leaves before his eyes can shut, knowing the time before he dreams of Harry’s death is running short. The issue is, by now he’s so got so many damn strings attached Harry’s practically braided into his skin.
