I thought that the same thing happened to Guil. BUT then I reread it and realized that Guildenstern in “Hamlet” was willing to die with Hamlet.

it’s time to let my theories for a walk. Actually we’ve know a lot from the spoiler frame.
The neckerchief. Most often it’s remembered because of dandy. But dandies were in the 19th century. And the flashback obviously happens much earlier. Neckerchiefs were also fashionable in the days of Louis XIV. He lived at the beginning of the 18th century. This is better for us. Shirt cuffs also look like 18th century shirt. All of these mostly worn by aristocratic people, so we can say that Lawless is probably from a noble family.
Btw this is also hinted at by his love for chatter, discussions and his whims (“ordinary” people didn’t have so much time for this). He and Hugh (I think he is from the nobility too) speak more than the rest.
Lawless, as we know, always chooses famous persons for contracts. If this happened at that time, I think any peasant would be uncomfortable in aristocratic society. Hedgehog doesn’t.
Then more. Unlike other servamps, Lawless cares about fashion (I’m not saying he is good at it). Of course this may be a new habit, but other siblings have nothing alike.
I think that dialogue takes place 10-40 years before the meeting with Ophelia, who apparently lived in the middle of the 18th century (we calculate, knowing that the meeting of servamps was 300 years ago). I had these sketches for a whole year, and looked at them alone as the biggest egoist. Ophelia has changed a lot, but Lawless still the same (as it should be for vampires haha)
The last chapter forces us to ask so many questions. Amazing. I am delighted.
Now we know about Kuro, and I pray to the gods that Tanaka Sensei will show us the stories of all siblings.
My headcanon that it was Ash who explained to others essence of vampires and taught them all vampire stuff.
Why I think about. Cuz they respect Ash. I don’t think it’s because he’s the oldest, because… you know… he doesn’t solve any problems that older children usually do
He is the strongest but he’s also sooo phlegmatic. He doesn’t scare them (siblings afraid Freya more). So this is not strength.
So there must be something else. Maybe Ash came to help everyone at the very beginning when all of them were scared angry and confused. As we now know it is in Ash’s character - to help
Let me remind you there is other one person that Lawless would like to hold hands with.

If you think about, they really have many common features. The more ridiculous if Lawless will convince Wor-kun and use smth like «Come on! He’s not a bad guy" because you know… Lawless and his nature are not the best.
