Okay, yeah, so she had an exam. Screw it. It was Advanced Calculus - it was a fluff class, she could easily make it up over the weekend. It didn’t matter, anyways - it wasn’t like they were going to kick her out. This was more important.

It always pissed her off a bit that they didn’t work in reverse, and it wasn’t even that she wished she could look into people’s homes - she just didn’t know why it didn’t work in reverse, and she didn’t like not know. She’d just never really taken the time to figure it out. “Gabriel, it’s Meg,” she called. “Wanna let me in?”

Like many people in the midst of this social distancing, I’ve decided to try my hand at making sourdough bread. A few weeks ago I began making my starter, feeding it every day and watching it grow. Since then, I’ve tried making a few loaves - some more successful than others! The last one I made was the best yet, but there is definitely still some room for improvement. I think next I will try scoring the bread a little bit deeper, and using less steam for a slightly harder crust.
If you’ve had the time and energy, what have you been creating?
