With a new identity and name for the blog there comes a need for a new visual identity as well. And so Saturday night I stayed in, watched the debate, and gathered some inspirational work from folks much more talented than myself to develop a mood for the new logo. Where do you go to find inspirational design? I find that the work of certain forward-thinking brands are a good source for inspiring…
i took a few of the rough logo sketches people seemed to like and refined them a bit! i’m kind of excited about all of them, what do you think?

Rabies logo/concert poster! This was so fun to make, I chose colors based on sick appearances and descriptions, I named the band Rabies because they are based on one of my favorite thrash metal bands “Anthrax”. I tried to give it that 80s/90′s metal vibe

Just a few thoughts re: Bandai Namco logo redesign.
Just cleanin’ out all the drafts with some more Agh Lab logo work for Dota 2! SO MANY REPEATING LETTERFORMS I was very tired after tweaking this one

This year’s Irish Week (and possibly all future festivals) got canceled because of the war, but in January I redesigned its logo and now feels like as good a time as any to share it here, at least.

House of X / Dawn of X / Reign of X / Destiny of X.
From 2019 to the present day, the logos and brand marks designed for Marvel’s X-franchise.
With the next phase in Marvel’s X-Men cycle, Destiny of X, releasing this spring, I thought it’d be a good opportunity to showcase the family of logos to date.
This week sees the release of X-MEN #1, as Marvel’s flagship title of the X-Men franchise relaunches two years after the Dawn of X release — reflecting the growth of the line. X-MEN #1 is my 13th Design Variant cover for the X titles, and my 2nd X-Men #1 cover. Available now at comic book shops everywhere.
