December 1951 is in full swing! And for the first time, GM has three in-character events (or activities) going simultaneously. 

• The RomCom AU event is up and running if you need some silly fluff. We all understand the brainpower and energy it takes to be creative, and with things going the way they are, sometimes it’s nice to have the break of writing something low-effort. These are kinda like the ‘grilled cheese and tomato soup/comfort food’ threads

• Case No. 001 is live and our Aurors are actively investigating Claudia Stewart’s death. (There is still one temporary character left for the Case No. 001 event - Bella Barnes, a Chaser for the Pride of Portree and teammate of Claudia’s. Don’t forget, temporary characters are open to the public and come with no expectation or obligation to officially join the site after the event ends!)

• The Ghost of Christmas Past event just launched for those who would like to step into a time-machine and explore Christmas memories from their character’s Hogwarts days. Oh, and don’t worry if you have a Muggle or a character that didn’t attend Hogwarts - we thought of that and want to make sure everyone can participate!

Hello!  Currently seeking a few different, but specific, fandoms and pairings!  All partners must be 18+ and all characters will be aged up to the same.  Just some quick rules before I go into what I’m looking for: 

•   Third person POV is what I’m most comfortable with
• I don’t do more than one main plot/pairing (doubling), however, I will play side characters throughout as I hope you will too
• As for length, I’d prefer to keep responses at 2+ paragraphs.  Starters, for me at least, are usually longer.

Hello ladies, gents and fellow rpers. After having to take an unexpected but necessary break from the wonderful world of rping I’m ready to dive back into the waters of writing and make some amazing stories with some new partners. 

I’ve got a good ten or so odd years of rping experience under my belt but any potential partners do not necessarily have to have the same experience, they simply need to fit under these three things:

-third person only with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.

- at least two small (no less than seven lines) paragraphs per post as well as being willing to write more if the situation calls for it. Please do not contact me intending to give me only small paragraphs with each response as the above is simply the bare minimum I’ll accept if there’s not much going on in the rp that warrants a full paragraph. I require detail too so please be aware of that as well.

-no one liners, one worders, script talk, poorly written sentences or just laziness in general.

This isn’t terribly much to ask for as picky as it sounds.

An important thing I shall mention is that NSFW (i don’t fade to black nor do I care when the smut happens. Just please don’t leave me once the smut has happened like lots of people seem to unfortunately do) and dark themes are a thing that occur in all my rp’s so I require you to at least be eighteen before you reach out to me. I will not accept anyone younger than 18 since I myself am in my early twenties. Underaged characters are also a no go as well. Please know that I’m in the eastern Australian time zone but almost any time zone Is compatible for me as I am awake at very odd hours. Another important thing I shall add is that you must be able to post at least once or more a day and if I don’t get any response after two weeks then I shall simply move on (only exception is if you notify me beforehand as to why you may not be able to post for a while. I’m not that vicious).

I only rp as male characters, as it’s simply my preference and I am open to MxM or MxF (with me as the male) pairings. I will not double and I do not play multiple characters. I don’t do sub/dom dynamics when it comes to any aspect of the relationship so it’s switch dynamics only for any relationships developed between the characters. My characters are also non-human (they’re aliens since this is a sci-fi rp after all) but what species your character is doesn’t matter to me at all as long as it’s not some god modded Mary Sue. Please remember that alien simply means a creature not from earth. Aliens can have fur, scales, feathers, etc, depending on where they come from. An alien with fur or scalies is not a furry or a scalie and please do not refer to them as such as it’s rude to label someone’s character as something they’re not. I will not write with someone who will insist that the theory of chimpanzees and humans unable to crossbreed should apply to hybrid characters regardless of whether they’re alien/alien or human/alien. This is fiction, not reality. Please also do not control my characters or dictate their actions. My characters are also premade and only have descriptions, I don’t do face claims or pics. I also do not care if you make a character up on the spot.

If you require realism or dislike fur on anything, even if it was simply to be a fur covered human, then I am not the rper for you.

Please remember that this is a sci-fi rp and that I will not accept requests to do fandoms or any genre that doesn’t fit within the category of sci-fi. I will not accept a character that has no place in a sci-fi rp either like a dragon,harpy,demon, elf or some other fantasy creature. 

The mission:

Seven. Seven alliance ships had disappeared without a trace or been destroyed by unforeseen yet suspicious circumstances. Mining asteroid explosions, ambush attacks, ship failures, all unfortunate yet unpredictable occurrences that were happening far too frequently for anyone to be able to just comfortably sit back and go on with life. With tensions between the alien and human race at an all time high, the alliance itself was desperately trying to find a way to keep the peace without causing a panic. Eventually, a proposal was made. In an all time first since the end of the great alien/human wars, an alien would be chosen and sent to work onboard a human ship. This was considered to be a very large step given many planets were still hostile to one another and the rumours circulating about the missing ships were sparking some strong reactions from both sides but the alliance was desperate….and so was the alien they were planning to send onboard. For them, it was their last and only chance to start a new life and to put a difficult past behind them. Little did anyone know, the appearance of this newcomer was more than just the first step towards changing life as many knew it for the known galaxies.

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the new alien crew member who is sent to work aboard an alliance ship with a human captain and crew. You can play as anything from a regular crew member to the captain. Alternatively this story can be modified so that it’s an alien from another race coming to work aboard another alien ship.)

Taking over:

The act of jumping aboard and taking someone else’s ship for your own was considered to be one of the lesser known crimes in the known galaxies yet one of the greatest dangers a captain and their crew could face. Most of the time it was smaller, less important ships that found themselves under the mercy of a new and ruthless leader due to how little people cared about them. Very rarely did a ship of great importance become a target given the risks and chances of failure were much higher to the intended usurper than it was in most other circumstances. Almost no one dared to board an alliance affiliated ship for fear that they’d have to endure punishments far worse than a bit of jail time. When a criminal boards an alliance ship and becomes the new captain, chaos ensues and a new course is charted.

(Important point of notice: I’d preferably like to be the criminal, but I have no problem with being the former captain, their second in command or an ordinary crew member if you’d prefer to play the criminal.)

Stowaway:

Life in the known galaxies was harder for some than it was for most. Whilst many people were able to live freely with little rules and regulations as to what they did, others were bound by law to follow a certain way of life. Most accepted their predetermined paths and did their best to stay out of trouble, whilst for others it was just that little bit harder to accept the way things were supposedly meant to be. Especially when things could go downhill very quickly if one happened to be on the wrong side of those laws. Whilst many people frowned upon ship jumping, the act of sneaking onboard a ship and hiding away from its occupants in order to travel, some people felt like it was the only way to reach their destinations when a fresh start to their life was in order. When a stowaway is caught trying to hijack a ship, will mercy be given? Or will they find themselves facing a new threat?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the stowaway. You will be playing the ship’s captain.)

Future defenders:

To anyone who’d graduated from The supernova space and military academy, the feelings were shared between everyone. The promise of freedom and the satisfaction of having managed to not flunk on the final exams that saw them earn a position on the alliance ships themselves was one of the highest achievements a cadet could earn. Now they got to experience the real deal first hand, some getting accepted into the jobs they’d dreamed of since their first year at the academy whilst others were put in a position where there was the chance to move up and an equal risk of being unlucky enough to move down. The one thing everyone enjoyed was the fact that their life was now somewhat less restricting than it had been prior but now was not the time to get slack. Now was the time to show just exactly what it was they’d learned and put it to the test, a now or never situation where everything they did was under the watchful eyes of their captain and superiors. The newest members of the space force were due to be deployed upon the Galactica, one of the most famous ships the galaxy alliance owned and flew, and no one would’ve known it yet but beyond the stars was where it really all began.

New recruit:

When someone was part of a team, it felt like the people who fought beside them were all that mattered. They cried on each other’s shoulders. They cheered each other on. They were there for each other through thick and thin. Most of the pilots who served under the galactic alliance were pretty tight knit with one another, meaning the pain of loss was worsened whenever such tragedy struck. When the alliance’s most cherished team was forced to say goodbye to a much loved member, a new pilot is sent as a replacement. Will the new recruit prove themselves worthy to their team? Or will they forever be the “replacement”?

(Important point of notice: in this rp either one of us can be the new recruit whilst the other is the captain of the ship the team is on or another team member.)

Where no one dares go:

Life in the known galaxies was once a peaceful experience. Aliens and humans alike peacefully lived their lives knowing that they were safe and mostly free from criminal encounters under the protection of the planetary leaders that formed the United worlds galactic alliance. Nowadays, such hope that any of those so-called leaders would look up from the desks that they were busy counting their money on was nonexistent. If you weren’t a criminal or someone who knew how to play their cards, life got pretty tough. Criminals ruled the roost with an iron fist, many species had gone back to the old ways of thinking less than highly of one another and most simply believed that perhaps this was the way things were meant to be. As a new threat slowly creeps over the horizon, it’s up to two unlikely heroes to team up and go further than anyone ever has before.

start again:

Life isn’t an easy one way path. The choices one makes can lead them to either continuing following the path that people want them to, or make them stray from it. Some people seek to control their own destiny from the start whilst others let it be chosen for them. Very rarely does someone get the chance to pretend that all the things they did never happened nor that they mattered. Very rarely does someone get the chance to start over from scratch when all they worked hard for has crumbled to ruins. Very rarely do criminals get the chance to escape their past. When a hardened spacer, notorious for his crimes, ends up losing his rank and is stranded on a planet far away from where he is a wanted man, gets this chance to start again and let go of his past. Will he take it? Or will he continue doing the only thing he knows?

(Important point of notice: I will be the spacer, you will be someone who unknowingly helps him find his feet and a new purpose in his life.)

Last chance:

Nobody is perfect. It’s one of the simple facts of life that no one wants to hear yet knows is true before it’s even uttered. People broke. People got angry. People hurt others just so that others could see how they’d hurt them. As a member of the military space force one was expected to keep a reign on their temper at all times and not fall prey to the desire to give someone a taste of their own medicine. Second chances were not freely handed out after major incidents and many were not keen on taking the only one they got: being forced to work on a ship whose mission was to find the worst space criminals and take them into custody. Dubbed the graveyard shift, this was considered the one and only chance anyone who’d done more than just taking an extra helping of rations for themselves could take. What happens when a somewhat innocent soldier is sent to work on the graveyard shift and is captured by one of the very criminals they’re meant to be searching for?

(Important point of notice: I’d prefer to play as the soldier but I do not mind being the criminal either. Just tell me which one you’d like to be.)

Not everything is as it seems:

In order to be considered a true criminal, one had to completely exempt themselves from the right side of the law. It wasn’t simply about not doing as one was told, kicking up a fuss or not sticking to the rules, it was about making the universe about yourself and yourself only. Even criminals were enemies to other criminals for ties to loyalty seldom existed between them. They could trust no one and no one could trust them. The alliance always had a big job on their hands dealing with the criminals powerful enough to actually have friends. What happens when a criminal with a high reputation for chaos and destruction comes across an injured alliance soldier begging for help? Will they ignore their own code of conduct? Or leave them to the mercy of fate?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the injured alliance soldier, you will be playing the criminal.)

All aboard the galactica!:

The galactica was a first class explorer ship led by only the greatest of military leaders and alliance figures. Many cadets dreamed of the day that they would one day either get to work onboard the ship whilst many more longed for the day that they’d be chosen as it’s next captain. To be the leader at the helm of the ship was considered the greatest honour and duty one could ever have befall them. Not everyone is content with having the responsibility of an entire fleet on their shoulders nor are the first few days, months or even years of being captain easy. To top it off, not everyone always agreed with the captains choice of their chosen protégé. As a wise man once said, one must be a follower before they could become a leader. When disaster strikes, will the remaining crew members be able to accept their new dynamic, or will it all fall to chaos?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the character chosen to be the next captain of the galactica, you can either play as my character’s rival or a friend who has turned a bit cold from jealousy. I’m also open to you being the one who was chosen to be the next captain.)

Forced:

”there’s no such thing as a bad person. Only bad choices.” Is a saying that is older than time itself. For many who are forced into a position where they have no other choice but to put their morals aside and do as they’re told, this is all too true. A space farer is captured by criminals and forced to choose between death or working as the criminals captain’s personal assistant. That means every order has to be obeyed and every rule must be followed or consequences will be dealt by force. As time passes and life go ons, the captured spacer starts to see his predicament in a different light.

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the captured spacer. You will be playing the captain.) 

Forbidden love:

aliens and humans are forbidden from associating with one another in any way that isn’t political. Whilst the two races have put aside enough of their differences to coexist in their own little pockets of space, not everyone is accepting of the idea that the two different species could live together as one, let alone ever simply just coexist peacefully together without insisting that alien planets and human planets are to be kept seperate. To trespass on the strictly human or alien occupied planets is a crime that few dare to commit. What starts out as a simple act of one sided rebellion and show of courage turns into an unanticipated adventure.

War of the worlds:

humans and aliens were never meant to coexist peacefully with one another. There was too much fear, Too much misinformation and too much bias on both sides for such a thing to have ever been successful. It was the humans fault that the war had started.  They were the ones who’d shot down the alien ship that had been packed with specially chosen diplomats that represented each alien race known to the galaxies they dwelled in that had been on their way to earth to negotiate a truce and a plan for peace. They hadn’t even hesitated to shoot the ship full of aliens yet they’d been surprised when war had been declared on the spot. Two races. Two worlds so different yet the same fighting one another for what was either a mistake or intentional murder.

Captured:

Space criminals have been around ever since advanced technology allowed others to travel and live in space as if they were living anywhere else. They’re often cunning, tricky to catch and more often than not are clever at disguising themselves whenever those wanted posters come up. It takes skill to be on the wrong side of space law and true talent to get away with it. The galaxy’s current most wanted man has finally been captured by an alliance captain and his crew. Will he beg for mercy? Will he be given a trial before being thrown into a cell to rot or will he be given a chance to turn himself around with some hard labour?

(Important point of notice: I’ll be playing the criminal for this one. You will be the alliance captain)

Enslaved:

imagine living the life of one of the most successful people on the run that could exist. Galaxies trembled at your name. You and your crew swam in wealth and the going was good. Mutiny, sadly and sometimes not sadly, exists on its own accord. One man reflected on this as he was forced to his feet. A collar attached to a chain and electromagnetic handcuffs prevented his escape as he stood for all those who cared to glance as they walked by in the market to see. No one wants to have their only life’s purpose to be to serve another……only sometimes people don’t get that choice.

(Important point of notice: I’ll be playing the slave/servant. You’ll be the master/mistress.)

Betrothed:

for as long as there has been civilisation and leaders, there has been arranged marriages. Arranged marriages, or betrothals as they were more often called, consisted of pairing two people together and making them get married in order to secure ties to another land or another planet. Political marriages benefited everyone but the married pair it always seemed. After all, you couldn’t possibly be happy being married to a complete and utter stranger? How does one who is betrothed build a life of love and prosperity when the one who bears the rings of their union is not the one who also bears their heart?

(Important point of notice: this can go two ways, either our characters are betrothed to each other or one character is betrothed. The idea has endless possibilities)

Invasion:

march 18th in the year of 6079 was the day that the aliens invaded earth. They’d been planning the take over for some time as they came prepared and easily took out Earth’s defence forces. No one knows exactly why the extraterrestrial beings from the outer worlds came to the humble blue and green planet the humans had existed on for millions of years nor did they seem to have any true intentions known other than conquering the planet and taking it for their own. This has led to the belief that all aliens must be the cruel monsters the humans stories have made them out to be. What happens when the actions of one alien puts that to the test?

(Important point of notice: I’m open to having this idea turned around and having the humans invade an alien world to take over.)

On the run:

even on the most modern of planets, life on the lamb can be difficult. There’s authorities to avoid and even more rules to break in the game of survival. No one takes pity on those who have done wrong to the point that they have their face in the paper. Even if it’s not your fault, will anyone give you shelter from the harsh cold winds of reality and a biased opinion? What happens when someone does take a chance on a poor wayfaring stranger? Will the wrongdoer be turned in or given a new lease on life?

Harden my heart:

once upon a time, there was two friends who were the best of friends that anyone could have ever seen. Two people who had each other’s backs through thick and thin. Two people who supported each other endlessly even if their morals weren’t entirely inline with each other’s. Two friends who swore to never leave each other’s sides. Alas with the time of great growing came changes, the two friends bond had severed and they’d gone their separate ways in life. What happens when they run into each other many years later?

captain on deck!:

captains weren’t meant to fall in love with their subordinates. They were supposed to be well refined leaders who only mingled with those of a similar status. They represented the people they worked for after all, therefore they had an image that had to be strictly maintained towards the public in order to not be disgraced in any form. Behind closed doors however…..feelings were allowed to be a little more free. Secret lovers were frowned upon but one could take the risk if they were careful. After all, the captains word was law.

I need you:

space is a cruel mistress to even those who are experienced with charting her waters. Space, although beautiful, is often the grave of many brave explorers, soldiers and other space faring strangers. When a stranger comes to scavenge parts from a newly crashed ship in the hopes of finding something useful, they come across a familiar face. Old feelings stir and clash with one another when the crash’s survivor awakens and finds out who their rescuer is.

Sooooo….. about those pairings. Whatever has two stars next to it is what I’m going to play if we choose the scenario:

1:enemies to lovers or rivals.

2: **captured criminal** x prison guard or other prisoner.

3: two soldiers from seperate sides falling in love.

This was considered to be a very large step given many planets were still hostile to one another and the rumours circulating about the missing ships were sparking some strong reactions from both sides but the alliance was desperate….and so was the alien they were planning to send onboard. For them, it was their last and only chance to start a new life and to put a difficult past behind them. Little did anyone know, the appearance of this newcomer was more than just the first step towards changing life as many knew it for the known galaxies.

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the new alien crew member who is sent to work aboard an alliance ship with a human captain and crew. You can play as anything from a regular crew member to the captain. Alternatively this story can be modified so that it’s an alien from another race coming to work aboard another alien ship.)

Taking over:

The act of jumping aboard and taking someone else’s ship for your own was considered to be one of the lesser known crimes in the known galaxies yet one of the greatest dangers a captain and their crew could face. Most of the time it was smaller, less important ships that found themselves under the mercy of a new and ruthless leader due to how little people cared about them. Very rarely did a ship of great importance become a target given the risks and chances of failure were much higher to the intended usurper than it was in most other circumstances. Almost no one dared to board an alliance affiliated ship for fear that they’d have to endure punishments far worse than a bit of jail time. When a criminal boards an alliance ship and becomes the new captain, chaos ensues and a new course is charted.

(Important point of notice: I’d preferably like to be the criminal, but I have no problem with being the former captain, their second in command or an ordinary crew member if you’d prefer to play the criminal.)

Stowaway:

Life in the known galaxies was harder for some than it was for most. Whilst many people were able to live freely with little rules and regulations as to what they did, others were bound by law to follow a certain way of life. Most accepted their predetermined paths and did their best to stay out of trouble, whilst for others it was just that little bit harder to accept the way things were supposedly meant to be. Especially when things could go downhill very quickly if one happened to be on the wrong side of those laws. Whilst many people frowned upon ship jumping, the act of sneaking onboard a ship and hiding away from its occupants in order to travel, some people felt like it was the only way to reach their destinations when a fresh start to their life was in order. When a stowaway is caught trying to hijack a ship, will mercy be given? Or will they find themselves facing a new threat?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the stowaway. You will be playing the ship’s captain.)

Future defenders:

To anyone who’d graduated from The supernova space and military academy, the feelings were shared between everyone. The promise of freedom and the satisfaction of having managed to not flunk on the final exams that saw them earn a position on the alliance ships themselves was one of the highest achievements a cadet could earn. Now they got to experience the real deal first hand, some getting accepted into the jobs they’d dreamed of since their first year at the academy whilst others were put in a position where there was the chance to move up and an equal risk of being unlucky enough to move down. The one thing everyone enjoyed was the fact that their life was now somewhat less restricting than it had been prior but now was not the time to get slack. Now was the time to show just exactly what it was they’d learned and put it to the test, a now or never situation where everything they did was under the watchful eyes of their captain and superiors. The newest members of the space force were due to be deployed upon the Galactica, one of the most famous ships the galaxy alliance owned and flew, and no one would’ve known it yet but beyond the stars was where it really all began.

New recruit:

When someone was part of a team, it felt like the people who fought beside them were all that mattered. They cried on each other’s shoulders. They cheered each other on. They were there for each other through thick and thin. Most of the pilots who served under the galactic alliance were pretty tight knit with one another, meaning the pain of loss was worsened whenever such tragedy struck. When the alliance’s most cherished team was forced to say goodbye to a much loved member, a new pilot is sent as a replacement. Will the new recruit prove themselves worthy to their team? Or will they forever be the “replacement”?

(Important point of notice: in this rp either one of us can be the new recruit whilst the other is the captain of the ship the team is on or another team member.)

Where no one dares go:

Life in the known galaxies was once a peaceful experience. Aliens and humans alike peacefully lived their lives knowing that they were safe and mostly free from criminal encounters under the protection of the planetary leaders that formed the United worlds galactic alliance. Nowadays, such hope that any of those so-called leaders would look up from the desks that they were busy counting their money on was nonexistent. If you weren’t a criminal or someone who knew how to play their cards, life got pretty tough. Criminals ruled the roost with an iron fist, many species had gone back to the old ways of thinking less than highly of one another and most simply believed that perhaps this was the way things were meant to be. As a new threat slowly creeps over the horizon, it’s up to two unlikely heroes to team up and go further than anyone ever has before.

start again:

Life isn’t an easy one way path. The choices one makes can lead them to either continuing following the path that people want them to, or make them stray from it. Some people seek to control their own destiny from the start whilst others let it be chosen for them. Very rarely does someone get the chance to pretend that all the things they did never happened nor that they mattered. Very rarely does someone get the chance to start over from scratch when all they worked hard for has crumbled to ruins. Very rarely do criminals get the chance to escape their past. When a hardened spacer, notorious for his crimes, ends up losing his rank and is stranded on a planet far away from where he is a wanted man, gets this chance to start again and let go of his past. Will he take it? Or will he continue doing the only thing he knows?

(Important point of notice: I will be the spacer, you will be someone who unknowingly helps him find his feet and a new purpose in his life.)

Last chance:

Nobody is perfect. It’s one of the simple facts of life that no one wants to hear yet knows is true before it’s even uttered. People broke. People got angry. People hurt others just so that others could see how they’d hurt them. As a member of the military space force one was expected to keep a reign on their temper at all times and not fall prey to the desire to give someone a taste of their own medicine. Second chances were not freely handed out after major incidents and many were not keen on taking the only one they got: being forced to work on a ship whose mission was to find the worst space criminals and take them into custody. Dubbed the graveyard shift, this was considered the one and only chance anyone who’d done more than just taking an extra helping of rations for themselves could take. What happens when a somewhat innocent soldier is sent to work on the graveyard shift and is captured by one of the very criminals they’re meant to be searching for?

(Important point of notice: I’d prefer to play as the soldier but I do not mind being the criminal either. Just tell me which one you’d like to be.)

Not everything is as it seems:

In order to be considered a true criminal, one had to completely exempt themselves from the right side of the law. It wasn’t simply about not doing as one was told, kicking up a fuss or not sticking to the rules, it was about making the universe about yourself and yourself only. Even criminals were enemies to other criminals for ties to loyalty seldom existed between them. They could trust no one and no one could trust them. The alliance always had a big job on their hands dealing with the criminals powerful enough to actually have friends. What happens when a criminal with a high reputation for chaos and destruction comes across an injured alliance soldier begging for help? Will they ignore their own code of conduct? Or leave them to the mercy of fate?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the injured alliance soldier, you will be playing the criminal.)

All aboard the galactica!:

The galactica was a first class explorer ship led by only the greatest of military leaders and alliance figures. Many cadets dreamed of the day that they would one day either get to work onboard the ship whilst many more longed for the day that they’d be chosen as it’s next captain. To be the leader at the helm of the ship was considered the greatest honour and duty one could ever have befall them. Not everyone is content with having the responsibility of an entire fleet on their shoulders nor are the first few days, months or even years of being captain easy. To top it off, not everyone always agreed with the captains choice of their chosen protégé. As a wise man once said, one must be a follower before they could become a leader. When disaster strikes, will the remaining crew members be able to accept their new dynamic, or will it all fall to chaos?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the character chosen to be the next captain of the galactica, you can either play as my character’s rival or a friend who has turned a bit cold from jealousy. I’m also open to you being the one who was chosen to be the next captain.)

Forced:

”there’s no such thing as a bad person. Only bad choices.” Is a saying that is older than time itself. For many who are forced into a position where they have no other choice but to put their morals aside and do as they’re told, this is all too true. A space farer is captured by criminals and forced to choose between death or working as the criminals captain’s personal assistant. That means every order has to be obeyed and every rule must be followed or consequences will be dealt by force. As time passes and life go ons, the captured spacer starts to see his predicament in a different light.

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the captured spacer. You will be playing the captain.) 

Forbidden love:

aliens and humans are forbidden from associating with one another in any way that isn’t political. Whilst the two races have put aside enough of their differences to coexist in their own little pockets of space, not everyone is accepting of the idea that the two different species could live together as one, let alone ever simply just coexist peacefully together without insisting that alien planets and human planets are to be kept seperate. To trespass on the strictly human or alien occupied planets is a crime that few dare to commit. What starts out as a simple act of one sided rebellion and show of courage turns into an unanticipated adventure.

War of the worlds:

humans and aliens were never meant to coexist peacefully with one another. There was too much fear, Too much misinformation and too much bias on both sides for such a thing to have ever been successful. It was the humans fault that the war had started.  They were the ones who’d shot down the alien ship that had been packed with specially chosen diplomats that represented each alien race known to the galaxies they dwelled in that had been on their way to earth to negotiate a truce and a plan for peace. They hadn’t even hesitated to shoot the ship full of aliens yet they’d been surprised when war had been declared on the spot. Two races. Two worlds so different yet the same fighting one another for what was either a mistake or intentional murder.

Captured:

Space criminals have been around ever since advanced technology allowed others to travel and live in space as if they were living anywhere else. They’re often cunning, tricky to catch and more often than not are clever at disguising themselves whenever those wanted posters come up. It takes skill to be on the wrong side of space law and true talent to get away with it. The galaxy’s current most wanted man has finally been captured by an alliance captain and his crew. Will he beg for mercy? Will he be given a trial before being thrown into a cell to rot or will he be given a chance to turn himself around with some hard labour?

(Important point of notice: I’ll be playing the criminal for this one. You will be the alliance captain)

Enslaved:

imagine living the life of one of the most successful people on the run that could exist. Galaxies trembled at your name. You and your crew swam in wealth and the going was good. Mutiny, sadly and sometimes not sadly, exists on its own accord. One man reflected on this as he was forced to his feet. A collar attached to a chain and electromagnetic handcuffs prevented his escape as he stood for all those who cared to glance as they walked by in the market to see. No one wants to have their only life’s purpose to be to serve another……only sometimes people don’t get that choice.

(Important point of notice: I’ll be playing the slave/servant. You’ll be the master/mistress.)

Betrothed:

for as long as there has been civilisation and leaders, there has been arranged marriages. Arranged marriages, or betrothals as they were more often called, consisted of pairing two people together and making them get married in order to secure ties to another land or another planet. Political marriages benefited everyone but the married pair it always seemed. After all, you couldn’t possibly be happy being married to a complete and utter stranger? How does one who is betrothed build a life of love and prosperity when the one who bears the rings of their union is not the one who also bears their heart?

(Important point of notice: this can go two ways, either our characters are betrothed to each other or one character is betrothed. The idea has endless possibilities)

Invasion:

march 18th in the year of 6079 was the day that the aliens invaded earth. They’d been planning the take over for some time as they came prepared and easily took out Earth’s defence forces. No one knows exactly why the extraterrestrial beings from the outer worlds came to the humble blue and green planet the humans had existed on for millions of years nor did they seem to have any true intentions known other than conquering the planet and taking it for their own. This has led to the belief that all aliens must be the cruel monsters the humans stories have made them out to be. What happens when the actions of one alien puts that to the test?

(Important point of notice: I’m open to having this idea turned around and having the humans invade an alien world to take over.)

On the run:

even on the most modern of planets, life on the lamb can be difficult. There’s authorities to avoid and even more rules to break in the game of survival. No one takes pity on those who have done wrong to the point that they have their face in the paper. Even if it’s not your fault, will anyone give you shelter from the harsh cold winds of reality and a biased opinion? What happens when someone does take a chance on a poor wayfaring stranger? Will the wrongdoer be turned in or given a new lease on life?

Harden my heart:

once upon a time, there was two friends who were the best of friends that anyone could have ever seen. Two people who had each other’s backs through thick and thin. Two people who supported each other endlessly even if their morals weren’t entirely inline with each other’s. Two friends who swore to never leave each other’s sides. Alas with the time of great growing came changes, the two friends bond had severed and they’d gone their separate ways in life. What happens when they run into each other many years later?

captain on deck!:

captains weren’t meant to fall in love with their subordinates. They were supposed to be well refined leaders who only mingled with those of a similar status. They represented the people they worked for after all, therefore they had an image that had to be strictly maintained towards the public in order to not be disgraced in any form. Behind closed doors however…..feelings were allowed to be a little more free. Secret lovers were frowned upon but one could take the risk if they were careful. After all, the captains word was law.

I need you:

space is a cruel mistress to even those who are experienced with charting her waters. Space, although beautiful, is often the grave of many brave explorers, soldiers and other space faring strangers. When a stranger comes to scavenge parts from a newly crashed ship in the hopes of finding something useful, they come across a familiar face. Old feelings stir and clash with one another when the crash’s survivor awakens and finds out who their rescuer is.

Sooooo….. about those pairings. Whatever has two stars next to it is what I’m going to play if we choose the scenario:

Hi there! My name is Dee, she/her, 30 years old and desperately looking for a cutesy, angsty, slice of life roleplay. I’ve been roleplaying since the early days of Neopets (maths = it’s a long time) and while I have taken a bit of a break over the last year or so, I am looking for someone to get in to something long-term with.
So, a bit about me… I only roleplay over email (sorry, anything else hurts my old brain), I am literate despite the odd typo here and there, I write in third person, my replies can be quite long and I would really enjoy it if yours were. Give me all the details! Give me back story that seems completely irrelevant, I want to know it all. I LOVE character sheets, face claims, creating whole lives for the people that we play, coming up with heartbreak and tense situations for them to have to go through together. I love hidden romances, secret affairs, long term friendships turning in to something more, small town childhood friends getting in touch again, that kind of thing. Think ‘The 1’ by Taylor Swift, or maybe even ‘Cardigan’. I have a few ideas for plots but really enjoy creating them with whoever I meet.
I only play MxF, happy to play male or female and multiple characters to add to the stories. Some of the characters I create tend to struggle with drug/alcohol abuse to add to their woes, so if that’s not your bag then I understand. Hello ladies, gents and fellow rpers. After having to take an unexpected but necessary break from the wonderful world of rping I’m ready to dive back into the waters of writing and make some amazing stories with some new partners.
I’ve got a good ten or so odd years of rping experience under my belt but any potential partners do not necessarily have to have the same experience, they simply need to fit under these three things:

-third person only with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.

- at least two small (no less than seven lines) paragraphs per post as well as being willing to write more if the situation calls for it. Please do not contact me intending to give me only small paragraphs with each response as the above is simply the bare minimum I’ll accept if there’s not much going on in the rp that warrants a full paragraph. I require detail too so please be aware of that as well.

-no one liners, one worders, script talk, poorly written sentences or just laziness in general.

This isn’t terribly much to ask for as picky as it sounds.

An important thing I shall mention is that NSFW (i don’t fade to black nor do I care when the smut happens. Just please don’t leave me once the smut has happened like lots of people seem to unfortunately do) and dark themes are a thing that occur in all my rp’s so I require you to at least be eighteen before you reach out to me. I will not accept anyone younger than 18 since I myself am in my early twenties. Underaged characters are also a no go as well. Please know that I’m in the eastern Australian time zone but almost any time zone Is compatible for me as I am awake at very odd hours. Another important thing I shall add is that you must be able to post at least once or more a day and if I don’t get any response after two weeks then I shall simply move on (only exception is if you notify me beforehand as to why you may not be able to post for a while. I’m not that vicious).

I only rp as male characters, as it’s simply my preference and I am open to MxM or MxF (with me as the male) pairings. I will not double and I do not play multiple characters. I don’t do sub/dom dynamics when it comes to any aspect of the relationship so it’s switch dynamics only for any relationships developed between the characters. My characters are also non-human (they’re aliens since this is a sci-fi rp after all) but what species your character is doesn’t matter to me at all as long as it’s not some god modded Mary Sue. Please remember that alien simply means a creature not from earth. Aliens can have fur, scales, feathers, etc, depending on where they come from. An alien with fur or scalies is not a furry or a scalie and please do not refer to them as such as it’s rude to label someone’s character as something they’re not. I will not write with someone who will insist that the theory of chimpanzees and humans unable to crossbreed should apply to hybrid characters regardless of whether they’re alien/alien or human/alien. This is fiction, not reality. Please also do not control my characters or dictate their actions. My characters are also premade and only have descriptions, I don’t do face claims or pics. I also do not care if you make a character up on the spot.

If you require realism or dislike fur on anything, even if it was simply to be a fur covered human, then I am not the rper for you.

Please remember that this is a sci-fi rp and that I will not accept requests to do fandoms or any genre that doesn’t fit within the category of sci-fi. I will not accept a character that has no place in a sci-fi rp either like a dragon,harpy,demon, elf or some other fantasy creature.

Whilst many people frowned upon ship jumping, the act of sneaking onboard a ship and hiding away from its occupants in order to travel, some people felt like it was the only way to reach their destinations when a fresh start to their life was in order. When a stowaway is caught trying to hijack a ship, will mercy be given? Or will they find themselves facing a new threat?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the stowaway. You will be playing the ship’s captain.)

Future defenders:

To anyone who’d graduated from The supernova space and military academy, the feelings were shared between everyone. The promise of freedom and the satisfaction of having managed to not flunk on the final exams that saw them earn a position on the alliance ships themselves was one of the highest achievements a cadet could earn. Now they got to experience the real deal first hand, some getting accepted into the jobs they’d dreamed of since their first year at the academy whilst others were put in a position where there was the chance to move up and an equal risk of being unlucky enough to move down. The one thing everyone enjoyed was the fact that their life was now somewhat less restricting than it had been prior but now was not the time to get slack. Now was the time to show just exactly what it was they’d learned and put it to the test, a now or never situation where everything they did was under the watchful eyes of their captain and superiors. The newest members of the space force were due to be deployed upon the Galactica, one of the most famous ships the galaxy alliance owned and flew, and no one would’ve known it yet but beyond the stars was where it really all began.

New recruit:

When someone was part of a team, it felt like the people who fought beside them were all that mattered. They cried on each other’s shoulders. They cheered each other on. They were there for each other through thick and thin. Most of the pilots who served under the galactic alliance were pretty tight knit with one another, meaning the pain of loss was worsened whenever such tragedy struck. When the alliance’s most cherished team was forced to say goodbye to a much loved member, a new pilot is sent as a replacement. Will the new recruit prove themselves worthy to their team? Or will they forever be the “replacement”?

(Important point of notice: in this rp either one of us can be the new recruit whilst the other is the captain of the ship the team is on or another team member.)

Changing ways:

As a royal, one could always predict how their life would pan out. A royal didn’t need to worry about working to provide money, food, clothes and a house over their heads given they were almost always born into a family with unfathomable amounts of wealth and servants that catered to their every need. Many people hated the idea that some people got to eat off a golden plate whilst they had to clean it. As a result, royals were not favoured amongst most people that roamed the known galaxies. Both parties scoffed at the idea of a royal ever being put in a position where they had to work. When a new crew member arrives in the form of a prince/princess from one of the most important royal families, many start to panic that they will be replaced. Can differences be put aside for the greater good of the galaxies? Or will old rivalries surface?

(Important point of notice: you will be playing the prince/princess. I will be playing a crew member or the captain depending on what we come up with.)

Where no one dares go:

Life in the known galaxies was once a peaceful experience. Aliens and humans alike peacefully lived their lives knowing that they were safe and mostly free from criminal encounters under the protection of the planetary leaders that formed the United worlds galactic alliance. Nowadays, such hope that any of those so-called leaders would look up from the desks that they were busy counting their money on was nonexistent. If you weren’t a criminal or someone who knew how to play their cards, life got pretty tough. Criminals ruled the roost with an iron fist, many species had gone back to the old ways of thinking less than highly of one another and most simply believed that perhaps this was the way things were meant to be. As a new threat slowly creeps over the horizon, it’s up to two unlikely heroes to team up and go further than anyone ever has before.

start again:

Life isn’t an easy one way path. The choices one makes can lead them to either continuing following the path that people want them to, or make them stray from it. Some people seek to control their own destiny from the start whilst others let it be chosen for them. Very rarely does someone get the chance to pretend that all the things they did never happened nor that they mattered. Very rarely does someone get the chance to start over from scratch when all they worked hard for has crumbled to ruins. Very rarely do criminals get the chance to escape their past. When a hardened spacer, notorious for his crimes, ends up losing his rank and is stranded on a planet far away from where he is a wanted man, gets this chance to start again and let go of his past. Will he take it? Or will he continue doing the only thing he knows?

(Important point of notice: I will be the spacer, you will be someone who unknowingly helps him find his feet and a new purpose in his life.)

Last chance:

Nobody is perfect. It’s one of the simple facts of life that no one wants to hear yet knows is true before it’s even uttered. People broke. People got angry. People hurt others just so that others could see how they’d hurt them. As a member of the military space force one was expected to keep a reign on their temper at all times and not fall prey to the desire to give someone a taste of their own medicine. Second chances were not freely handed out after major incidents and many were not keen on taking the only one they got: being forced to work on a ship whose mission was to find the worst space criminals and take them into custody. Dubbed the graveyard shift, this was considered the one and only chance anyone who’d done more than just taking an extra helping of rations for themselves could take. What happens when a somewhat innocent soldier is sent to work on the graveyard shift and is captured by one of the very criminals they’re meant to be searching for?

(Important point of notice: I’d prefer to play as the soldier but I do not mind being the criminal either. Just tell me which one you’d like to be.)

Not everything is as it seems:

In order to be considered a true criminal, one had to completely exempt themselves from the right side of the law. It wasn’t simply about not doing as one was told, kicking up a fuss or not sticking to the rules, it was about making the universe about yourself and yourself only. Even criminals were enemies to other criminals for ties to loyalty seldom existed between them. They could trust no one and no one could trust them. The alliance always had a big job on their hands dealing with the criminals powerful enough to actually have friends. What happens when a criminal with a high reputation for chaos and destruction comes across an injured alliance soldier begging for help? Will they ignore their own code of conduct? Or leave them to the mercy of fate?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the injured alliance soldier, you will be playing the criminal.)

All aboard the galactica!:

The galactica was a first class explorer ship led by only the greatest of military leaders and alliance figures. Many cadets dreamed of the day that they would one day either get to work onboard the ship whilst many more longed for the day that they’d be chosen as it’s next captain. To be the leader at the helm of the ship was considered the greatest honour and duty one could ever have befall them. Not everyone is content with having the responsibility of an entire fleet on their shoulders nor are the first few days, months or even years of being captain easy. To top it off, not everyone always agreed with the captains choice of their chosen protégé. As a wise man once said, one must be a follower before they could become a leader. When disaster strikes, will the remaining crew members be able to accept their new dynamic, or will it all fall to chaos?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the character chosen to be the next captain of the galactica, you can either play as my character’s rival or a friend who has turned a bit cold from jealousy. I’m also open to you being the one who was chosen to be the next captain.)

Forced:

”there’s no such thing as a bad person. Only bad choices.” Is a saying that is older than time itself. For many who are forced into a position where they have no other choice but to put their morals aside and do as they’re told, this is all too true. A space farer is captured by criminals and forced to choose between death or working as the criminals captain’s personal assistant. That means every order has to be obeyed and every rule must be followed or consequences will be dealt by force. As time passes and life go ons, the captured spacer starts to see his predicament in a different light.

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the captured spacer. You will be playing the captain.)

Forbidden love:

aliens and humans are forbidden from associating with one another in any way that isn’t political. Whilst the two races have put aside enough of their differences to coexist in their own little pockets of space, not everyone is accepting of the idea that the two different species could live together as one, let alone ever simply just coexist peacefully together without insisting that alien planets and human planets are to be kept seperate. To trespass on the strictly human or alien occupied planets is a crime that few dare to commit. What starts out as a simple act of one sided rebellion and show of courage turns into an unanticipated adventure.

War of the worlds:

humans and aliens were never meant to coexist peacefully with one another. There was too much fear, Too much misinformation and too much bias on both sides for such a thing to have ever been successful. It was the humans fault that the war had started. They were the ones who’d shot down the alien ship that had been packed with specially chosen diplomats that represented each alien race known to the galaxies they dwelled in that had been on their way to earth to negotiate a truce and a plan for peace. They hadn’t even hesitated to shoot the ship full of aliens yet they’d been surprised when war had been declared on the spot. Two races. Two worlds so different yet the same fighting one another for what was either a mistake or intentional murder.

Captured:

Space criminals have been around ever since advanced technology allowed others to travel and live in space as if they were living anywhere else. They’re often cunning, tricky to catch and more often than not are clever at disguising themselves whenever those wanted posters come up. It takes skill to be on the wrong side of space law and true talent to get away with it. The galaxy’s current most wanted man has finally been captured by an alliance captain and his crew. Will he beg for mercy? Will he be given a trial before being thrown into a cell to rot or will he be given a chance to turn himself around with some hard labour?

(Important point of notice: I’ll be playing the criminal for this one. You will be the alliance captain)

Enslaved:

imagine living the life of one of the most successful people on the run that could exist. Galaxies trembled at your name. You and your crew swam in wealth and the going was good. Mutiny, sadly and sometimes not sadly, exists on its own accord. One man reflected on this as he was forced to his feet. A collar attached to a chain and electromagnetic handcuffs prevented his escape as he stood for all those who cared to glance as they walked by in the market to see. No one wants to have their only life’s purpose to be to serve another……only sometimes people don’t get that choice.

(Important point of notice: I’ll be playing the slave/servant. You’ll be the master/mistress.)

Betrothed:

for as long as there has been civilisation and leaders, there has been arranged marriages. Arranged marriages, or betrothals as they were more often called, consisted of pairing two people together and making them get married in order to secure ties to another land or another planet. Political marriages benefited everyone but the married pair it always seemed. After all, you couldn’t possibly be happy being married to a complete and utter stranger? How does one who is betrothed build a life of love and prosperity when the one who bears the rings of their union is not the one who also bears their heart?

(Important point of notice: this can go two ways, either our characters are betrothed to each other or one character is betrothed. The idea has endless possibilities)

Invasion:

march 18th in the year of 6079 was the day that the aliens invaded earth. They’d been planning the take over for some time as they came prepared and easily took out Earth’s defence forces. No one knows exactly why the extraterrestrial beings from the outer worlds came to the humble blue and green planet the humans had existed on for millions of years nor did they seem to have any true intentions known other than conquering the planet and taking it for their own. This has led to the belief that all aliens must be the cruel monsters the humans stories have made them out to be. What happens when the actions of one alien puts that to the test?

(Important point of notice: I’m open to having this idea turned around and having the humans invade an alien world to take over.)

The Walking wounded:

when one worked as a galaxy defence force member, they were on the frontline of everything. Every battle. Every loss. Every victory. Every struggle that the force went through they had to be there and follow the rules. You could not kill an unarmed person regardless of whether they were hostile or not. You could not turn down a plea for help even when there was reasons to suspect something was amiss. In simple terms: you simply couldn’t do anything that would make your morals be questioned. What happens when even the captain says to leave all those rules and everything you were taught by the door when faced with someone who seems to be the exception to the rule. What’s the right thing to do not by them but the entire galaxy?

Monster:

aliens. Aliens were terrifying beasts that were the monster in every bedtime story the humans told their children to keep them home at night. Many mothers wept when their sons and daughters applied to the space military in order to keep the extra terrestrial scum away from the galaxies they’d claimed as their own. When a human ship crashes on an alien world so far away from human civilisation it may as well not exist to the aliens and a crew member is found lost and alone by a wandering alien, will their fate be decided by a monster? Or a benevolent being?

(Important point of notice: I will be playing the alien in this scenario. I’m also open to the characters situations being swapped around so it’s the alien who crashes.)

On the run:

even on the most modern of planets, life on the lamb can be difficult. There’s authorities to avoid and even more rules to break in the game of survival. No one takes pity on those who have done wrong to the point that they have their face in the paper. Even if it’s not your fault, will anyone give you shelter from the harsh cold winds of reality and a biased opinion? What happens when someone does take a chance on a poor wayfaring stranger? Will the wrongdoer be turned in or given a new lease on life?

Harden my heart:

once upon a time, there was two friends who were the best of friends that anyone could have ever seen. Two people who had each other’s backs through thick and thin. Two people who supported each other endlessly even if their morals weren’t entirely inline with each other’s. Two friends who swore to never leave each other’s sides. Alas with the time of great growing came changes, the two friends bond had severed and they’d gone their separate ways in life. What happens when they run into each other many years later?

captain on deck!:

captains weren’t meant to fall in love with their subordinates. They were supposed to be well refined leaders who only mingled with those of a similar status. They represented the people they worked for after all, therefore they had an image that had to be strictly maintained towards the public in order to not be disgraced in any form. Behind closed doors however…..feelings were allowed to be a little more free. Secret lovers were frowned upon but one could take the risk if they were careful. After all, the captains word was law.

I need you:

space is a cruel mistress to even those who are experienced with charting her waters. Space, although beautiful, is often the grave of many brave explorers, soldiers and other space faring strangers. When a stranger comes to scavenge parts from a newly crashed ship in the hopes of finding something useful, they come across a familiar face. Old feelings stir and clash with one another when the crash’s survivor awakens and finds out who their rescuer is.

Sooooo….. about those pairings. Whatever has two stars next to it is what I’m going to play if we choose the scenario:

1:enemies to lovers or rivals.

ROLEPLAY: Alrighty, here we go. This is where things get a bit specific. Mentioned previously, I write M//. It wouldn’t be impossible for us to write M/F, but there are particular dynamics I’m seeking - not the cliché and overdone kind - this can be discussed personally (but, again, isn’t what I’m looking for.)

Most importantly, I will not solely write the tops to your bottoms, and I don’t expect you to be doing that for me. I am all for ambiguous roles as well.

I put my heart and soul into my characters because I love what I do. Please: nothing one-sided. I love OC chatter and I want to be able to send you a meme tagging one of our muses. As a music enthusiast, I compile playlists. I even work on muse-specific Pinterest boards to boost the inspiration. I adore writing mini one-shots of scenes in OOC as a means of plot development, whether or not it’s due to a delay in my replies. I draw! Character development is a huge part of my time spent roleplaying and as such, I expect you to be just as devoted. In a perfect world, we know each other’s characters completely because we have both contributed to their development. That being said, I don’t mind if you bring a pre-made character, so long as we can work on other developments together. This is going to be a creation we’ve made.

When it comes to the more explicit scenes, I’m not against the concept, however: I value plot over smut and as a greyromantic/asexual, I will not be writing smut. I’m horrible at it and will not subject you to that mess. Furthermore, it’s exhausting and uncomfortable for me to do so often. With this being said, be open to fading to black. Despite all of that, I’m no puritan and neither are some of my muses. Some are shamelessly lewd. I am not bothered if yours are as well. Anything else smut-related should be discussed with me. No characters will be under 18.

Worldbuilding is something I absolutely love to do. I love to explore every facet of a fantasy world from customs and currency to religion and politics. The more magical, the better. I love godly conflict. My favourite kind of fantasy is futuristic, where technology and magic go hand in hand. I love the involvement of gods; we can make our own! I simply will not do anything Earth-based because it’s not up my alley. Note: the world I just described is NOT REQUIRED, it is just something I have a lot of fun with. I’m super open-minded and can go with anything that you set forth.

Please be open to writing a cast of characters. I don’t mind if the focus is solely on two people, but there is room for secondary and background characters. It’s even better if you’d like to write a chaotic group of friends, wholesomely dysfunctional family (not having to be biological), siblings that don’t hate each other, and comical background characters. I’m not saying we’ll have over 50 muses at once, but we can expand from the standard 2.

I am a literate writer and expect the same from you. One-liners are only acceptable for the interactions that demand them, but they will remain rare. I will not drown you in text every other response, but I will write what I feel is appropriate and I expect you to do the same. I average 3-5 paragraphs, but I have been known to derail to 6k+ words. You can ask for writing samples when you reach out to me.

Plot-based stuff is going to be all up to discussion. Things can get dark. Really dark. They can be as dark as you want them to be. On the lighter side, I love the different relationship dynamics that can come of our muses’ unique personalities. At the moment, I am absolutely itching to put one of my latest boys to good use. (Spoiler: he’s a wicked, anaemic brat.) Either way, if you have an idea, spring it on me and we’ll see if things work out.

Be patient with me. I mentioned being a university student, and the goals I am pursuing come before writing. Things may be slow enough for a couple replies a week, but they also might be hectic enough that I’ll need 1-2 weeks to respond. We’ll still be chatting the whole while; I’m not going anywhere!

I’m shy. I’m terribly shy and this is something nerve-wracking to me. Please excuse me if I don’t open up instantly, I want to get to know you as naturally as possible. By the same token, I am not your therapist and you are not mine. We have life struggles and we’re bound to mention them as friends do, but I have had instances in the past where my writing has come to an end because my partners want to do nothing but unload onto me. December 1951 is in full swing! And for the first time, GM has three in-character events (or activities) going simultaneously. 

• The RomCom AU event is up and running if you need some silly fluff. We all understand the brainpower and energy it takes to be creative, and with things going the way they are, sometimes it’s nice to have the break of writing something low-effort. • The Ghost of Christmas Past event just launched for those who would like to step into a time-machine and explore Christmas memories from their character’s Hogwarts days. Oh, and don’t worry if you have a Muggle or a character that didn’t attend Hogwarts - we thought of that and want to make sure everyone can participate!

Hello ladies, gents and fellow rpers. After having to take an unexpected but necessary break from the wonderful world of rping I’m ready to dive back into the deep waters of writing and make some amazing stories with some new partners. Lately I’ve been eager to get back into a fandom that has always been held quite dear to me ever since I discovered it: voltron. I’ve been a fan of voltron since the day I was first introduced to it and I’m hoping to find some fellow fans that would like to write within that setting with me. Before we get into the nitty gritty details of what exactly it is I’m looking to write, I do have some important details and requirements to share with you.

Firstly: I’ve got a good ten or so odd years of rping experience under my belt but any potential partners do not necessarily have to have the same experience, they simply need to fit under these three things:

-third person only with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.

- at least two small (no less than seven lines) paragraphs per post as well as being willing to write more if the situation calls for it. Please do not contact me intending to give me only small paragraphs with each response as the above is simply the bare minimum I’ll accept if there’s not much going on in the rp that warrants a full paragraph. I require detail too so please be aware of that as well.

-no one liners, one worders, script talk, poorly written sentences or just laziness in general.

This isn’t terribly much to ask for as picky as it sounds. Although I crave quality over quantity, equal portions of both are what I aim for and what I would like for my partners to also aim for.

Secondly: An important thing I shall mention is that NSFW (i don’t fade to black nor do I care when the smut happens. Just please don’t leave me once the smut has happened like lots of people seem to unfortunately do) and dark themes are a thing that occur in all my rp’s so I require you to at least be eighteen before you reach out to me. I will not accept anyone younger than 18 since I myself am in my early twenties. Underaged characters are also a no go as well. Please know that I’m in the eastern Australian time zone but almost any time zone Is compatible for me as I am awake at very odd hours. Another important thing I shall add is that you must be able to post at least once or more a day and if I don’t get any response after two weeks then I shall simply move on (only exception is if you notify me beforehand as to why you may not be able to post for a while. I’m not that vicious).

I only rp as male characters, as it’s simply my preference and I am open to MxM or MxF (with me as the male) pairings. I will not double and I do not play multiple characters. I don’t do sub/dom dynamics when it comes to any aspect of the relationship so it’s switch dynamics only for any relationships developed between the characters. My characters are also non-human (they’re aliens since this is a sci-fi setting after all) but what species your character is doesn’t matter to me at all as long as it’s not some god modded Mary Sue. Please remember that alien simply means a creature not from earth. Aliens can have fur, scales, feathers, etc, depending on where they come from. An alien with fur or scalies is not a furry or a scalie and please do not refer to them as such as it’s rude to label someone’s character as something they’re not. I will not write with someone who will insist that the theory of chimpanzees and humans unable to crossbreed should apply to hybrid characters regardless of whether they’re alien/alien or human/alien. This is fiction, not reality. Please also do not control my characters or dictate their actions. My characters are also premade and only have descriptions, I don’t do face claims or pics. I also do not care if you make a character up on the spot.

If you require realism or dislike fur on anything, even if it was simply to be a fur covered human, as well as a stickler for canon to the point where everything has to be exactly like how it is in the show, then I am not the rper for you. I shall also make it clear now that I am not looking for any canon x canon or oc x canon pairings. oc x oc is the name of the game here. Oc’s will be the mains, any canon characters will be secondary or side characters that are playable by either of us.

Lastly: You need to have watched at least one voltron series (defender of the universe, voltron force, voltron vehicle force or voltron legendary defender) as I’m not really looking for people who have no clue what the show is about or what’s in it. You don’t need to be able to know each individual character’s personal dialogue off by heart, but I do need you to know the basics given this will be a mashup of pretty much all the voltrons out there plus whatever bits and bobs we add.

With those things out of the way, let me tell you the basics of the setting shall be.

The rp will be set in an alternative universe where voltron was not the victor for some of his bigger battles. Lotor, zarkon, honerva and Sendak have worked bit by bit, sometimes together, sometimes on their own, to conquer the galaxies bit by bit with the aid of their followers. The paladins of voltron had worked hard to try and combat all four individuals but with more than just the galra working against them, it became all too Much. The day the paladins and the mighty robot fell prey to defeat after thirty years of desperate fighting to try and beat the universe’s new rulers. Just like ten thousand years before, when the reign of terror had been stopped temporarily by voltrons revival and the friendships that had been made, chaos descended upon everyone like a thundercloud. No one believes that heroes as great as the ones who flew the space lions would ever rise again. Nor do they believe things will change.

This is a much grittier, more serious setting than what the show paints and there won’t be any connections to the lions from the very start until we decide it’s time too. There will be two characters to start off with rather than five and story progression will play a big role in the rp in general. Basically a built from the ground up kind of deal. Brainstorming is happily accepted and encouraged, as well as bringing your ideas to the table.

The only platforms I rp on are discord currently but I can be persuaded to rp on Google chat if discord is not an option, I don’t use telegram anymore. I will not rp on any other platform other than the ones listed (though I do not mind people reaching out to me via email for rp requests but I will not rp on email. Be warned I may take a while to get back to you if you choose to reach out to me this way). If you do not have any of those then unfortunately we cannot rp. When you reach out to me requesting for an rp In the opening message tell give me a little introduction about you, tell me your favourite voltron character, what lion or animal you’d fly if you were a part of the voltron force, any ideas you may have for the rp and you must put 123 somewhere in your message so that I know you’ve read all of my post. If you do not put those things in the opening message then I will not rp with you, don’t just put “hi wanna rp”. Make it interesting.
