#los cabos
The best hotels are the ones that make you feel like you’re right at home.
The last time I was in Los Cabos was around 5 years ago. It was a girls’ trip with my mom, grandma, and myself. I distinctly remember that trip because it was one of the only times in Mexico that we actually left the resort to explore.
You see, my family usually stays at all-inclusive hotels when we visit Mexico. That means unlimited food, unlimited drinks, unlimited room service, and no reason to ever leave the resort (which we never did).
When I was invited to visit Cabo, I naturally said yes! I brought my mom along to be my photographer and enjoy the beautiful sunshine.
Hacienda Encantada
The hotel is nicknamed Enchanted Paradise, and for good reason too. The property is located atop the hills overlooking Los Cabos. Hacienda Encantada has an option for every type of vacationer.
All-Inclusive
For me, I would rather pay a slightly higher price to enjoy the freedom that comes with the all-inclusive package. I can eat and drink to my heart’s delight.
European Style
If you’re not one to over-indulge, good for you! Hacienda Encantada also has European-style available. The European option is what most people are used to. While you pay a lower daily rate compared to all-inclusive, the price only includes the room. Drinks, food, and room service are excluded so they are all additional charges. If you’re the type of vacationer to eat locally, then this is the best option for you!
Time Share
If Cabo, Mexico is your favorite place to vacation and you plan on visiting frequently, then a timeshare may be suitable for you! The Residences at the property are absolutely stunning. Owners have a choice of a luxury two-bedroom condo or a three-bedroom private villa! I had the privilege of touring the residences and WOW. Both the options include access to a private area just for you and other owners. The villa even has a private pool!
Hacienda Encantada plans daily activities for guests. During my three days in Cabo, I participated in a tequila tasting, enjoyed delicious barbeque, and watched a fire performance at dinner! If you like to explore outside the hotel, then there’s a shuttle to Hacienda Encantada’s sister hotel, Marina Fiesta Resort, in downtown Cabo. Downtown is where all the nightlife happens. It’s also right by the boat terminal, where you can board a boat and spend your day at sea.
Treat Yourself to a Vacation
The property hosts three pools, multiple bars, and a handful of restaurants. Major kudos to how photogenic the hotel is! Perched on top of the hills, the hotel is also ideal for weddings and other special occasions.
Hacienda Encantada has earned its place as one of my favorite hotels. With its options to suit every vacationer, it’s hard not to enjoy your time here. Every morning, a majestic sunset greets you at your balcony. At night, a gracious sunset accompanies you at dinner.
