While I’m sure everybody knows it’s Star Wars Day, Did you all know it’s also Alice in Wonderland Day?

Yes! Here’s the two quotes that tell us exactly when Alice had her dream.

Exhibit one, from chapter 6, Pig and Pepper.

“Alice waited a little, half expecting to see it again, but it did not appear, and after a minute or two she walked on in the direction in which the March Hare was said to live. `I’ve seen hatters before,’ she said to herself; `the March Hare will be much the most interesting, and perhaps as this is May it won’t be raving mad–at least not so mad as it was in March.’ As she said this, she looked up, and there was the Cat again, sitting on a branch of a tree.”

And Exhibit two, from the next chapter, The Mad Tea Party.

“The Hatter was the first to break the silence. `What day of the month is it?’ he said, turning to Alice: he had taken his watch out of his pocket, and was looking at it uneasily, shaking it every now and then, and holding it to his ear.

Alice considered a little, and then said `The fourth.’

`Two days wrong!’ sighed the Hatter. `I told you butter wouldn’t suit the works!’ he added looking angrily at the March Hare.

So, to celebrate, here are some designs I’ve been playing with for a slightly more modern version.

It happens that apparently today is also Rokunami Day and I didn’t know. I don’t had enough time to do something new, so I’m taking the chance to post some commissions I did recently for @scoobysnack1107
I think at this point is it’s well known that I’m an Alice’s lover, I had so much pleasure drawing the mad tea party themed one. the most intriguing  part of this piece is that I wanted to dress Mami as Alice, being roxas the mad hatter. But being Alice herself present I decided to create for her a pretty reinterpretation of the White Queen’s dress from Burton’s movie. I’m so happy with the result.

About the chibis and the stained Glass piece, they are based on her fanfiction One Sky, One Destiny, and if you are intrigued enough, here’s the LINK TO THE FIRST CHAPTER!
