I’m realy enjoying my time here in Ticino.
Even if i noticed how much strength and bodytension i lost this year due to all the time off that i had to take from climbing because of all the fingerinjuries i had.
Anyway i could already climb some true gems like this one ⬆️ called “ElectroBoogie” fb.8a+ in MagicWood (not in ticino).
I still try to find the right balance between restdays, climbingdays and not pulling to hard on my fingers, especially my skin on the fingers was quite bad during this trip (and still is).
I hope to get more gems done in this beautiful area

Throwback to the time where i could climb a lot outside… i wasn’t very active on Insta or on rockclimbing as the weather doesn’t seems to care about climbers , i was rarely climbing outside after my trip to #magicwood in summer and it still seems like the weather isn’t going to change… so i’ve been spending some time to find some unclimbed boulders to clean and maybe climb them one day…Until then i have to stay patient and try to keep my body healthy. The pics are from my 2nd session on “Muttertag” when i tried to do the cruxmove with the righthand, which didn’t worked for me. 3 weeks since i had my last outdoor session… i need to get some rock action under my fingers. While waiting for better weather, i dream about being back in fontainebleau … can’t wait for it. Today was my second last climbing day of my trip and i finaly climbed my project. I had bad skin and had to tape during the last 2 sessions but today my skin was good enough to climb without … and i stuck the crux again but this time without my foot to slip… It’s my first 8b which makes me the first climber from Luxembourg who managed to climb this grade (Last year i became the first climber from lux. to do fb.8a+) I’m soooo happy that i could finish this one before i have to drive back home. This one is from two days ago and is called
„ The Bomb is Explosion“ (fb.7c+/8a in the guidebook) it’s a one-move boulder, the crux is getting your ass from the bottom and getting the jug… the start hold is a littlecrimp/pinch on the left and a very slopey crimp/undercling/sidepull/something for the right hand… Some friends tried it the day before and they told me it’s super hard… i didn’t felt so after i flashed it … so i downgraded it for myself.But i’m happy that i flashed this one.Today i climbed„The left hand of darkness“fb.8a
and got psyched for another boulder in darkness cave that i hope to finish before my trip ends…we’ll see ⏱ (p.s. this video is not the actual flash… i didn’t filmed it on the flash, so i climbed it again for the cam)

I had a nice climbing day yesterday, i climbed this short boulder called „Massive Attack“ Fb.8a+ and later in the day i did „Nothing Changes“ Fb.8a. On the first time trying this one i couldn’t even get my ass from the ground… On the second session i climbed the whole boulder and it felt like some kind of levitation. I hope to finish some more boulders in this magical forest…
