I’m very happy that i climbed this beauty at the end of my trip. I didn’t try something harder on this trip as i thought i wouldn’t succed because of my fingerinjuries and physical weakness this trip but i decided to use the last few climbing days to try this one and i succeeded. Now i’m back home and i hope that i’ll be able to train soon again… my finger still isn’t ready for training so i have to stay a little more patient… The psych is high!
Tb to last autumn when i climbed “Remoise” a route which doesn’t gets many repeats due to a hard boulder-crux on the start. I can’t train since over a month as i have a little finger injury I hope that it recovers fast enough and that i didn’t lose to much strength so i can still achieve my goals for this year.

3 weeks since i had my last outdoor session… i need to get some rock action under my fingers. While waiting for better weather, i dream about being back in fontainebleau … can’t wait for it. Today was my second last climbing day of my trip and i finaly climbed my project. I had bad skin and had to tape during the last 2 sessions but today my skin was good enough to climb without … and i stuck the crux again but this time without my foot to slip… It’s my first 8b which makes me the first climber from Luxembourg who managed to climb this grade (Last year i became the first climber from lux. to do fb.8a+) I’m soooo happy that i could finish this one before i have to drive back home. Recently in London I spotted this white cloud of Clematis montanavar.grandiflora (white anemone clematis) flowers. This is a vigorous large deciduous climber and will clamber over adjacent shrubs and trees attaching by means of a twisted petiole (leaf stalk).
Oh my DOMS. I was correct in thinking that my arms would be dead today.
Didn’t elaborate much on yesterday’s session but the plan was to go with the boyfriend but he ended up having to stay at home so I went on my own. I did actually start walking to another wall to use the auto belays as bouldering on my own makes me quite anxious but I pass this place on the way there so I womaned up and went.
It was hella busy which didn’t help much, stayed well within my comfort zone though and did the easiest climbs, just did a lot of them, hence the sore arms! Most of them were green, which as you can see from the picture, are very ladder like This is what happens when you’re terrified of falling and so used to being roped in.
I certainly felt a lot less anxious in there than last time I went on my own so that’s an improvement and gives me hope that this might be something I could eventually get over!
