I think that some movies are bi movies. I watch the movie and I’m like these people are bi. or the movie itself is just bisexual I don’t know what to tell you.
For some reason I get emotional during Dancing Queen when the old woman throws the sticks and starts singing. Really, seeing all of those women take off their aprons and abandon their work to join the number. It’s just a beautiful celebration of youth, of womanhood, of freedom, of friendship. Brb losing my marbles
“sophie’s so naive and immature” that’s the whole damn point of her character arc ok go and watch the rest of the movie

The core appealing thing about the Mamma Mia movies is that I think most recent movies have lost a sense of camp, but Mamma Mia embraces it. It isn’t trying to be anything besides a jukebox musical about having a lovely time in Greece.
Does the plot make sense? Eh, kind of.
Does the timeline make sense? Not really but it doesn’t matter.
Are there some songs that do nothing to further the plot? Absolutely unless someone can justify “Does Your Mother Know” to me.
Is the point of the scenes with the Dynamo costumes just to enjoy some spectacle? Yes! They’re tacky and glorious.
