Sometimes I’m filled with unbridled rage that can only be quenched by the need for Apple Juice
Here’s a preview for my latest drawing :) regarding the whole drawing I just need to say

Given the show’s radical themes, being already pretty late into its run and not having to fear cancellation… What if TOH inserts a bit of topical social commentary by having Luz and co. deface, if not outright destroy, Philip’s statue? Now that they know what he’s really like and has done?
Cue Jacob Hopkins throwing a hissy fit about ‘erasing history’ and if Belos notices and finds out… HOO BOY, but I can imagine this happening after he’s finished off for real this time. Bonus points if Belos revels over him and Caleb being celebrated as witch hunters martyrs via these statues, to make a point about how it’s less about history and moreso about venerating less than decentpeople…
Philip deserves to be forgotten, as someone who’s destroyed and taken from the future; In contrast to Caleb, who only nurtured it, such as through his Clawthorne descendants that also continue to help out! Knowing how Caleb ended up, I wonder if we’ll see the protagonists consider adding his statue to the destruction, if only because the way it celebrates him as a witch hunter might feel disrespectful in hindsight to how Caleb actually ended up; But then again it’s also about how the brothers founded the town, so maybe not so much?
