Marc Brown drew inspiration from real locations and settings from various places he lived when he designed locations for Elwood City during the production of the show. For one example, the old Hingham Library in Hingham, Massachusetts was the inspiration for the Elwood City Library (having fun isn’t hard, when you got a library card!)

I added lines comparing the contours of each building.
