Adventurekateers! Our own founding WorkJuice Player Mark Gagliardi is putting up Tales from the Black Lagoon for one night only in NY! Here’s a message from Gags himself:
Hello, Thrilling fans! I have some exciting news for our east coast folks.
I, like you, miss hearing Acker & Blacker’s stories told from the stage by nicely dressed performers. When some friends told me they were raising money to build schools in Malawi I thought this seemed like a great reason to gather some of my favorite WorkJuice East Players and have a Thrilling night at the Bell House, our New York home. And what a story we have for you!
Do you remember our serial Tales from the Black Lagoon? It’s a trio of noir stories about Hollywood’s Golden Age and one of my favorite segments we ever did, so we’re gathering those serial episodes into one seamless story of glamorous intrigue.
It will be on May 17th at 7:30 at The Bell House, our favorite theater, to raise money for a good cause. I hope to see you there!

I’m just a little excited about going over to LA to see thrilling adventure hour. I get to see Mark Gagliardi, Marc Evan Jackson, hallublinpaulftompkins Paget Brewster. I love all the Work juice players but those guys are my fave. My friend has already put in her order for me to bring sweets/candy over from London for her. ✈️ bring it on

Omg I can’t believe this time next week I will be in LA to watch Thrilling Adventure Hour. I am so excited but freaking out big time. I’m not only going to see the people who have pretty much saved my life, hallublinpaulftompkins Marc Evan Jackson, Mark Gagliardi and Paget Brewster have been the Workjuice players who have made a big difference I really want to say thank you to them. But I’m going to respect the wish of a friend who wanted to see the show but lost the fight with the demons.
I have sorted everything out at home for my mum and nephew so they will be sorted but I feel selfish for going and leaving them. I havnt been on holiday for 10yrs so it’s well over due but I’m really nervous, Anxiety is a Bitch. Sending a great big hug to anyone out there who suffers from it. Onwards and upwards. Ok gotta stop the moaning, this washing won’t put itself away.
The Thrilling adventure hour ended its 10 year monthly show last night, I will miss it greatly. I should collect all the TAH art I have done in one post but for now here is a new Sparks poster art I did.
