everyone who says “wow all the Star Allies need therapy” is totally right but also the idea of them actually attending therapy is one of the funniest things I can think of
Imagine you’re a little waddle dee therapist dealing with waddle dee problems and this battle nun with a giant electrified polearm and a glare that can kill gods walks into your office and asks for therapy for clinical depression and a Prozac refill

I’ve seen him portrayed as a sadboy who did no wrong, as a harmless but obnoxious little gremlin, and a straight up domestic terrorist. Searching for content of him is always a surprise because you never know if he’s gonna be a cotton candy cutie pie or call someone a slur

The subsumption of individuals in service to a nebulous goal. The loss of individuality and identity in service to a goal that was initially human but ceases to be. An ideology whose breadth and scope gets away from everyone who created it, engulfing and devouring them in the process. People starting a fire that uses them as fuel when they least expect it because goals and ideologies don’t have morals, they have infinite potential that far outclasses any people who might serve it.
Trauma as a vehicle for detachment and loss of empathy, making people extra susceptible to losing themselves in these impossible goals. The pursuit of capital reducing lives and gods and relationships to goods and services, making the people producing and managing capital into capital themselves. Things moving and working long beyond the humanity has left the people who started the endeavor. Warped ideologies chugging away and continuing to produce in twisted fashion long after the deaths of those who started it.

I like to think Zan has always been scared of thunderstorms
Hyness was the one to comfort her every time, and so one day after their exile when he turns her away when she’s really scared, claiming he’s “busy with work” that’s when she realizes something is really wrong with him. She hides her fear, burying it as deep as she can and dealing with it in private so as to not reveal weakness or burden her sisters. This persists even after Star Allies, when all of them are living on Popstar in the process of redeeming themselves for their crimes against the planet and universe
Then one day there’s a huge thunderstorm and Zan has her little hideaway ready to go. She has a blanket and a quiet room where she can go wait out the storm when there’s a commotion downstairs— it’s Hyness, tearing up the castle looking for her. She rushes to see what’s wrong, only to be surprised by him wrapping her in a big hug. “I was worried,” he says. “I know you hate storms, and I didn’t want you to be all alone.”
And that’s when she knows the real Hyness is finally back
thinking abt a scenario in which Chillies are kept frozen and happy by the bells– the bells contain all their magic! They see Francisca is having a really hard time on Popstar and is constantly miserable / melting so they give her a bell which keeps her nice and cool so she can hang out comfortably with her friends
The first thing she does with it is give Flamberge a big hug :)
