Yosemite National Park Road Trip
California, July 2018
Photos of our drive down to Yosemite! We stopped in Ashland Oregon, Reno Nevada and Mono Lake, California. Plus I got my first glimpse of Mt. Shasta! It was a long trip, about 13 hours that we broke into 2 days of driving.

An aerial view of the High Sierra as of Saturday, April 9th. There is still snow but it is certainly no longer a robust snowpack. The top image features the Owens Valley looking over the White Mountains with the High Sierra in the background. The lake in the middle left photo is Lake Tahoe. Note the ski runs visible in the bottom of the photo … some of the lower runs appear to be snowfree. The bottom photo is the distinctive Mono Lake. The low point southwest of the lake is Tioga Pass.
