#Inktober 19/31 hello cuties! I’m so sorry I haven’t been super responsive. Keeping up with everything is getting pretty overwhelming. Despite that. I REALLY like how this one turned out. It’s the most action packed cool looking drawing of sage I’ve done all month so far. I love the motion an I love the tribal bohemian look that I was playing with for her outfit. I wanted to try something a little more tribal cause that feels like an earth witch kinda thing, but admittedly I don’t know if I’m going to go in this direction at all.

I can’t wait until next month when I can just focus on actually developing the story and characters!

#Inktober 18/31 Trying to see what sage would look like in a more bohemian outfit while keeping things simple because I had a pretty busy day and didn’t have a lot of time to work on this. I think it has a nice fantasy look too it.

#Inktober 17/31 for this one I wanted to explore possible looks for other earth witches in Sage’s town. I’m also thinking about adding more tribal and bohemian elements to them. I wanted to make sure it was a diverse group but I wasn’t able to fit enough people on the page to really showcase that. I also tried to see if I could do limited inking but I don’t feel like it really worked the way I wanted it to. Still fun though.

#inktober 13/31 Sorry guys, I’ve been focusing so hard on making sure that my youtube videos go up daily that I’ve let myself slip on Instagram on twitter. This weekend I’m trying to get ahead again so hopefully I’ll be back on track. So for this one I wanted to try an easier inking solution to see if it would make things go faster. It did, and I like the way it looks for this one. Its just a collection of witchy things that I imagine you’d see in the sage’s hallow world.

#inktober 11/31 so doing day 10 and thinking about the “why” behind sage’s outfit. I thought it would be fun showcasing her in a dress as a child. Because she likes fighting and climbing and being active, dresses are not her preferred choice of clothing.

It was also fun introducing sage’s mom. I think of her as a very loving and happy person. I look forward to exploring her background more.

Hello Cuties! #Inktober day 10/31 and I think i’m on a roll again! YAY!! For this drawing I wanted to kinda re-draw day 01 but I wanted to test out their new fantasy inspired outfits. I wasn’t sure what Sinora’s skirt would look like and I didn’t want it to be a traditional long victorian skirt so I went with a 50’s style. I kept Sage in a pair of shorts since she is a fighter and wants to be able to move more.

Hello Cuties! here is my #inktober day 09/31! I don’t love the way this one turned out but I am really glad that I did it. I pushed myself even though I didn’t feel comfortable and thats how you learn. This is supposed to be a shrine to the earth goddess in my comic story and I’m not sure if it will appear in the story itself but it is a thing that exists in the world.

In other news, I got a tech guy to come and check out my internet so hopefully I won’t be having any more internet problems (fingers crossed). Inktober 06/31 Okay, so this is may favorite so far. I really like how this one turned out and it matches with @JakeParkers inktober prompt list “Sword”. Not intentional but I’m going to run with it anyway! lol. I think I like this one so much because it has the most movement and emotion to it. Which is something you need in a comic. If I pick any of the previous ones to re-draw I will definitely have to push myself to add more emotion and push the expressions. ⠀

Inktober 05/31 I was feeling super sick this day so I wanted to do something simple again. (if you don’t know, I started inktober a week early so that I could have time to edit the daily videos for my Youtube channel) I wanted to play around with the idea of the world being in a different time period. There would be some modern and magical elements mixed in, sort of like steam punk but the over all feel would be vintage. I’m not sure yet if that is something I would do so I might try to explore the idea a little more in the future. ⠀

inktober 03/31 this is actually a scene in the original comic story idea that I had, I messed up a but while I was drawing it but at least it gets the idea across. I’m also planning on picking a few of these after inktober to finish digitally.
