S: Were you able to see his dream again?
P: I did —not voluntarily though. I assume you saw, too.
S: …We really should tell him, you know.
P: What, about our dreamlink?
S: Yes. He clearly isn’t aware that we can see his nightmares, and I’m not comfortable with keeping this from him any longer.
P: He’d block us out if he finds out. How can we be sure we will be able to save him from drowning in his dreams next time?
S: We can’t. But we shouldn’t protect him by betraying his trust either.
P: He’d freak out though, knowing that his magic let us in his mind without him knowing.
S: And that is the exact evidence of how much he trusts us, consciously or not.
P: …Fine, you win. Now hush and go back to sleep. This conversation can wait till tomorrow.
S: Are you going to make pancakes for breakfast?
P: With blueberries, yes.
S: Can’t wait.
P: *rolls eyes* Good night, dear.
S: *yawns* Night.
