Teammate watches Villain, their longtime rival, be captured and dragged away by their allies. They know Villain is being held somewhere on the base, but they shove the thought aside and carry on as normal… Until they need advice on a matter their team can’t help them with.

They make their way to the containment floor, and find Villain, sneering and making sarcastic jibes as usual. But then the image of them starts to flicker, and Teammate realizes it’s just an illusion. Real Villain is chained in the corner of the cell, exhausted and beaten.

“Sorry,” they mutter. “Didn’t want you to see me like this.”

The whumper takes away the whumpee’s inhaler

The whumpee wakes up to find themselves strangling a loved one

The doctors don’t numb the area before a spinal tap

The whumper regularly, publicly noncons the whumpee as entertainment for their friends and to incite jealousy and fear from their enemies.

The rescuer witnesses this while disguised in the crowd

A psychic knowing exactly how and when they’re going to be hurt but they’re unable to stop it

The team/loved ones don’t know that whumper and the whumpee switched bodies
