Even though I can’t quite understand all the fuss about homecoming and all (not from the USA here) this was very sweet of him, considering how important it is to MC.
I mean… it couldn’t be any different.
Even if I liked Mason, his family has enough money to pay for his studies, so of course I’d cheer for Noah.
I know scholarships are more than just having or not having money to pay, but yeah… in this case I think Noah is more deserving of it.

Anyway, is someone going for Mason? Cause I’m having a hard time playing the chapters he’s the star.

On the other hand, he finally acted like the choice is up to us. Anda I REALLY hope it is, because even though some books I REALLY I’d like to stay with more than one LI it was quite difficult choosing between King Liam and Drake this isn’t certainly one of them.

And I SO HATE this love triangle. Weren’t love triangles supposed to make you conflicted and have a hard time choosing between one of the LI? Cause I just want Mason to go away. I’m having NO HARD TIME at all.
I am PISSED after this last chapter of mtfl. Seriously? What the actual fuck. That is a new low PB, forcing Ava to kiss Bayla. There are so many people, including myself, who all they want to do is romance Ava and have had to suffer from this heterocentric plot with some weak ass bisexual comments here and there. I am mainly pissed for two reasons though.
1. Forcing Ava into a relationship with another woman. It’s been 52 chapters and way over 52 days since this book began and all the people who want to romance Ava have been unable to. We’ve what? Gotten one diamond scene with her? A couple of options to flirt compared to a plethora of diamond scenes and just scenes in general with Mason and Noah. That’s some bullshit. And it’s so incredibly painful and frustrating for the people romancing Ava to FORCE Ava to kiss another woman when we’ve been FORCED to kiss Mason and Noah despite not wanting to.
2. The “exploring sexuality” plot they said at the very beginning they were going to do and their attempts to make the MC bisexual are weak. As an ACTUAL bi person, this feels like a slap in the face to me. They’ve barely explored her feelings for Ava except a couple comments here and there but the MC hasn’t actually ever asked the question “who amI attracted to? Men? Women? Both? More?” But they don’t do that. They just discuss her feelings for Ava but not the larger picture. It’s obvious enough when you read the book that the MC is attracted to men, but they don’t go into detail about whether or not she is attracted to more than just men.
time after time noah just keeps proving how good he is. he is the only one who actually knows how to properly be there for mc and is always the one to do so.

oh you need to make it home before your dad so you don’t get in trouble? say less, i’ll get you home and come up with a plan
oh you kissed mason and your bff hates you now? yeah i didn’t like seeing it either but it’s not like i own you, dw about it i’m here for you

oh you look sad, dw i have just the spot to cheer you up, and i won’t trouble you with all that stuff that happened with mason and ava before
whereas mason right after mc gains consciousness after literally breaking her arm is like mC bE MiNe

Stayed with us the entire time when our mom died even though his best friend had betrayed him and broke into his goddamn house
He encouraged us to follow our dreams in photography when no one else would
He gave up his dream scholarship and fricken ASKED THE SCOUT TO CHOOSE NOAH INSTEAD because he realized it wasn’t fair that he got that scholarship
He drove us to the beach to take our shot of the ocean for the winter fair even though he knew he would get in trouble with his demon spawn dad. AND IT LITERALLY ALMOST GOT HIM DISOWNED AND HE DIDN’T TROUBLE US WITH IT AT ALL
He stayed with us the entire time when we were unconscious after breaking our arm and when we wake up he tells us he wants to protect us from all the harm in the world and then tells us the story of how we saved a puppy together because he knows it’s our favorite.
He drove the friend that betrayed his trust to the hospital after HE BROKE INTO HIS GODAMN HOUSE
When Noah told his side of the story about the break in MASON WAS THE VICTIM AND LITERALLY REACHED OUT TO TRY AND MEND THEIR RELATIONSHIP FIRST
WHAT ELSE DOES THIS MAN NEED TO DO FOR YOU TO SHOW THAT HE LOVES AND CARES ABOUT YOU?!
I literally just restarted all 100 chapters of “My Two First Loves” not because I wanted to romance someone else. But because I just wanna spend a bunch of diamonds making my character the best possible character she can ever be, and have her live her best life because she deserves to be a badass.

For me, a good triangle involves motives other than just attraction. I like triangles when there is already tension/antipathy from two of the patites and adding the third party is just lighting the powder keg. It was why the MTFL triangle worked for me, why the triangle with Colt and Logan in RoD was compelling and why I am sure the ID one will as well. CAS and Gabe obviously have a history, obviously already hate each other and MC is walking into that situation and causing it to explode. But it means that emotions are involved, that the tension is believable and the fallout likely to be messy.
