Inktober 15-17/31. Forest #15: The Prince Fairytale #16: The Harpy Fairytale #17: The Wise Princess

Summary:
This is a story of life, pain, wishes, love, and the devil.
Josephina is in her thirties and on the self-given task to check out all her bucket list wishes with the plan to end her life before the chronic pain she lives in consumes her completely.
During her journeys, she ends up at the nightclub “Sodom” and meets Samuel, the charming owner of said club. Little does she know also runs the hotel she stays in during her visit. Intrigued by her and her seemingly care-free attitude, he tries to befriend her in the little time she is around.
Soon he learns about her plan and is fascinated. How could a human willingly end their own life and risk going to hell? And he should know how hell looks like because he is the devil himself.
To understand why she wants to take this step, he helps her with her bucket list with his wealth, knowledge and connections. The objection of his right hand, the former street kid Alexandra, become the smaller issue when one of his angelic siblings becomes a threat and Sam falls in love with Josephina among all this chaos. Sam’s biggest problem: How do you explain you are the devil, but you aren’t like humans depict you, and that one of your siblings actually fits the description more than you?
Unaware of all this, Josephina gets tangled in the web created by Sam’s sibling to torture him. Once she learns of all that is going on, she surprises Sam with her reaction, and even more Alexandra, whose help will tip the scale to Sam’s favor in the long term.
When things go wrong for Josephina, a whole new surprise lays ahead of them because God also had a word to say about all this. And even for angels, God moves in mysterious ways.
