@authortobenamedlater was not expecting Lone Wolf. Don’t worry, honey, there will be another time…
I had sort of suspected all along that Noble Six didn’t make it, and even more so by the end of Pillar of Autumn, but it was still a heck of an ending.
Now I feel this urge to write a fanfic of Noble Six charging through all the bad guys in the Lone Wolf level thinking “Hey if this planet is gonna fall on my birthday, I’m going to give us one helluva party” since Reach does fall a few days after my birthday.
