When Spencer asked me if we could drop by the library, I had assumed it would be a quick endeavor.

I sigh for what feels like the millionth time as Spencer hands me yet another book for him to hold. I envy the carts the librarians push around, wanting desperately to put these down.
“Come on Spence we still have a million things to do today!” That was an exaggeration. The only real thing we had to do was grocery shop and I knew we still had enough stuff at home for a few meals. My actual goal was to try out a pop-up candy store that sold incredible looking spicy watermelon gummies.
Unfortunately, the gummies were less enticing to my genius boyfriend.

As mentioned in the last post, my band does awards and during one of our officer meetings the same kid that begged for the piss drinker award insisted we do a “best foursome” award between him, two trumpets, and another snare. They actually did that one.
Every week during marching band season the officers nominate people in the band for a set of awards we have and sometimes we’ll throw in an extra award just for fun. One kid was really insistent that we have a piss drinker award. We did not get to give anyone the piss drinker award.
My friend fist bumped one of the sophomores in his section and said that his knuckles were really soft and the kid said “my one wish would be for you to stop talking about how soft my hands are” and my friend responded “you have a problem with that but not me explaining inflation fetishes to you during class? Okay.”
