Welcome to another day where Emmet does his best with his single brain cell to cheer his brother up who has suffered years of stress. This was inspired by the concept art that’s been popping up recently XD
I was looking up what other things could cause hair loss/balding and aside from genetics, stress, sudden/drastic change in lifestyle and diet can also be a cause. Also, just personal headcanon, being in constant contact and being poisoned by the sneasler and sneasel might also have an effect >w>; Ingo is now sneasel/sneasler poison immune with the cost of hair loss.

Here is the comic inspired by theories people had for how they think Emmet lost his arm! Thank you everyone who participated! It was so fun reading everyone’s thoughts (even the joke ones XD).

All the art and comics are all over the place and don’t follow any linear timeline since I am drawing whatever inspires me at the moment. However! I do have the chapter where Emmet loses his arm, Zora’s evolution and the ending to ‘Lone Emmet and Cub’ all planned!
It’ll be a while though since I am still working full time and need to focus on commissions and my patreon as well >w< I’m just happy people are enjoying this self indulgent AU I made <3 I have a weakness for “accidentally adopted this child and doing their best” characters and wanted to explore more of soft Emmet/Kudari side even during hard times when searching for his brother.

Oh and this is way ahead in the future for Lone Emmet and Cub AU where the bros finally find each other, Zora has grown up and Emmet is slowly getting used to living amongst humans again.

Decided to do some concept stuff since this au is expanding more than I anticipated XD Here is Zora’s human form design and how the misunderstanding of Emmet and the Zorua being related started.
I also thought it would be cute if Emmet taught Zora how to use a chopstick and maybe how to read at least simple words (because he needed to brush up on his Japanese anyway) >w> Taking liberties in how pokemon illusion powers work, sorry not sorry.
