Winter on Oregon’s high plains.
Highway 97 provides some of the best, most Americana views anywhere, with towering, snowy volcanoes and rolling fields of wheat laying dormant for the winter. This part of Oregon was ravaged by several massive wildfires totaling several hundred thousand acres, destroying the largest wheat crop in decades.
