Text: “Since the citizens [of Sternbild] don’t know that Antonio and Origami are Heroes, the citizens in the bank were likely just thinking that these two awesome and mysterious NEXT just saved them.”
Series’ character designer, Masakazu Katsura, is exhibiting 40 years of his work that he has contributed to the manga and anime industry, which will include TIGER & BUNNY 2 art. Art boards and clear files are being sold as merchandise at the venue, which feature key frame art that Katsura contributed to the “kaleido proud fiesta” opening song of TIGER & BUNNY 2.
Katsura answered questions regarding TIGER & BUNNY’s production, specifically mentioning about designing the hero, Wild Tiger, which took 6 months. He recalls his persistence: “It took a long time to create the character, but I was still anxious about it. I thought, "This is it, but I don’t know if it’s good or bad…” Looking back on his feelings at the time, he said, “It was wonderful when I saw it in action. I was happy with it.”
