“Will she be alright?” Dasom asks from the top of a rooftop, hidden well as she lays on her front, eyes peeking through the scope of her sniper.
Mingyu sits beside her, watching through the window ever so often with a pair of binoculars. He leans against the railing, legs dangling from the edge as he presses his chin up against his forearm. “We’ll just have to trust her,” he says, eyes never leaving your form as you stand in a room with a man who had caused quite the trauma for you.
It’s the first time he’s heard about the man, the first time for any of them, and although it came as a surprise Yuna herself had no idea, he realizes there was indeed a part of you that no one knows about. Yuna had only met you after your divorce, after all, and even then you’ve hidden a lot about yourself from her. So whatever you went through in your childhood years is a story he isn’t sure he will ever come to find out. Not unless you outright tell him.
And that’s something he knows you wouldn’t do.
It isn’t a question of his loyalty to you, it’s just your trauma speaking aloud in a heavy silence.
I kinda want to protect her and at the same time I want to help her give hell to all the ones who hurt her. She’s got so much to deal with, I’m surprised how far she’s come. She’s a survivor. I’m looking forward to seeing how the guys will deal with all this new information they have now.
